Has there been any consideration of adding the B-25H to the American tech tree?

There's almost certainly going to be an American medium bomber tree at some point and the Mitchell will be there.

This will be a note for our discussion with the Devs, along with the other inquiries on plane additions!

"American medium bomber tree" would be good for the B-25B, B-25C, or B-25D. But... I think the OP was focused more on the G, H, and J variants which were a lot closer to being an attack plane than a bomber. The H series that he mentioned could carry a 75mm cannon, 8 fixed forward firing .50 cals, 8 HVAR rockets, and 3,000 pounds of bombs. The J series got rid of the cannon, but could have 12 fixed forward firing .50 cals in a special "strafer" nose.

Maybe an American Attack tree? But that would end up being similar to an American medium bomber tree for most part...

They never gave the Hs129 its signature 75mm :(

If it had that gun it would be a true GAA.  In its current form, it is a blend of GAA and GAA hunter (with the 37mm (1), 20mm (2), and the 7.92mm (2)).  However, I would think that with that gun (75mm), it may not work at its current position in the tree.

I want a Chinese Nationalist tech tree!

Tier I - Liuchow Kwangsi Type 3
Tier II - Curtiss F11C-2/3
Tier III - Model 75/Hawk 75M
Tier IV - Curtiss-Wright CW.21
Tier V - Vultee P-66 Vengeance
Tier VI - Chu XP-0
Tier VII - AFAMF XP-1
Tier VIII - AFAMF XP-2
Tier IX - CXP-102 (Gloster E.1/44)
Tier X - CXP-1001

J311yfish has a much more detailed and realistic tech tree for China, but I'm perfectly fine with a bunch of paper planes :P

Could these discussions or meeting minutes ever be shared with the forum community? Or at the least a summary of minutes maybe?

How about these;

US

Douglas 23

Mitchell B25

B26

Soviet

PE-2

IL DB-3

TU-2

Japan

G4M1 Betty

Ki-49 Helen

Ki-67 Peggy

GB

Vickers Wellington

Hadley Hampton

Avro Manchester

Heavy Bombers are great but I really feel that it may start an imbalance that can't be fixed if you know what I mean...

Actually an interesting list that you chose. Any particular reason on any of these or just personal preference?

In my view, they seem to fit the WoWP profile of medium bombers.  There are enough variants to make them unique and offer challenges

The only ones that I would consider as favorites are the B25, PE-2, G4M1, and Manchester.  The B25B (Doolittle Raid) is my all time favorite and the second on my list is the G4M1 line of medium bombers.  The G4M1's only fault was the inability to defend itself and of course its fuel tanks.

In all honesty, it's not the planes but the brave men who flew them that made them famous.  Regardless of which side they were on.

I think the Ju 88 P would better fit the 75mm. Maybe add a premium Hs with it too? The regular one works better with the bombs anyways

This is my IL-2 (t). There are many like it, but this one is mine. :child:

AR234, great idea especially if they expand the line to maybe tier 8 and I agree with the HE 111 as maybe a tier 7.

You certainly seem on top of things SonicPariah, hopefully we all have blurted out some ideas that have taken the dev's interests.

But to this topic, I wouldn't forget the B-24 Liberator, arguably one of the most heavily produced bombers in the war. If the Mitchell is being considered, the Liberator should be as well, IMO.

Noted. Will also add the Liberator to the discussion list.
