Even if there isn't a glitch this coming Monday the 9th, as there was back on the 2nd which cut ten hours off the final Invasion mode weekend, there is another potential issue that may have been overlooked.

Westwall, and the final Attrition weekend of the event, should end at [Noon Pacific - 1PM Mountain - 2PM Central - 3PM Eastern - 8PM Greenwich] for the NA server.

Provided there is not another bugged server reset, at those times the event should/will lockout any further progress on the missions - including the ability to spend certificates for uncompleted tasks.

However, going by the past two weekends, certificate awards for the personal points contest will take between twenty to thirty minutes after end time of the event before being finalized and distributed.

Unless Wargaming makes some kind of a specific change any certificates earned by placing in the various brackets of the contest will be unusable towards purchasing either of the event planes.

There has been an indication that unused certificates might be redeemed for some amount of in-game gold, but no firm commitment to that outcome either.

event will end before the collection of certificates from personal points. I think this weeks free certificate cannot be used because the option to see the mission should be removed and certificates will be useless. Since these certificates are earned, these will not be transformed into gold currency i suppose. But the one people have bought it, those will be converted into gold for sure.

I am hoping they will allow use of these certificates for a least a few days after earning them has ended.

I for one will be playing Sunday night late trying to knock off as many missions as possible before buying the required certificates.

This is a lot of speculation.

This occurred every weekend of the event out of five, kind of -the point- really; can folks use what they earn or buy for the intended purpose, the planes, or will they be outright disadvantaged with (maybe) small compensation.

Folks are already not getting credit for bugged task completions, bugged certificate transactions to bypass tasks, and bugged missions bundled with planes purchased from the store; trends not indicating a hopeful outcome.

Ok, Mars_Revenant, in less than a day the event ends, I don't have my Do335 but there are enough tokens on my account to end it and get the plane.  When should I suggest the sky is falling? :sceptic:

Why don't you get it now so that you can play it some on the weekend? I went ahead and bought the 50 certs I needed late last night and got my XF15C. Using it to complete a few of the  DO335 tasks.  I knew I could not finish the last couple with distinction and didn't want the stress of trying anyway. I will just take the compensation for whatever certs I win.  BTW, I enjoy flying the XF15C a lot more than my Seafang.

Well considering they only hand out the reward certificates from the Weekend Leaderboard event, after it is over, I would assume that you can redeem them after as well.

Also, venting the the forum wont get you any help as we currently don't have a community manager.  Your best bet would be to start a Support Ticket, or join Priolia's Discord, and she may be able to answer for you.

That account has been around for a while, I think its a moderator.  But time will tell.  My understanding was the decision was finalized, so I don't know what is taking so long for the announcement.

I've heard they want me (AceBotlisticCosmo) to be the official forum moderator...

I'm thinking of starting a poll, maybe tomorrow I'll start a thread

I have 32 Certificates and one mission left says I need 12 certificates, but won't let me spend them. So they will take my money to buy them, but won't pay out. What a rip off, oh and as of this moment you can still buy them on the website, so pay up suckers!!

For some reason there was a point in an FAQ that players had to ''fly'' the last task, which I think was actually meant to mean the final additional task (just get a victory with all other tasks complete) and not both of #15.

This however seems to have caused a bug, or contributed to same, where folks couldn't get completion on the last task if they tried to spend the certificates to bypass the primary task before the ''15/15'' counter was done.

For myself, once I completed other earlier tasks, the final additional task for the mission set of that plane triggered instead of making me have to fly and get a victory; I'd already completed the 15th primary task by then.

This happened with both planes, two task completions for a single battle; just, very buggy overall, and inexcusable on the part of Wargaming.

There was also a task I completed during the lockout last weekend, that WG refused to mark as completed, and there are any number of posts showing I was not the only player who lost out versus ''Support''.

I completed 14 with certificates which unlocked Mission 15., but the completion was grayed out. I then went and finished two other final missions with certs and was able to use the certs on Mission 15.
