Is anyone getting into these empty games where you're the only player.... then once the countdown ends, the screen goes black and the game crashes?

It is happening every other game

Yes, It's done it twice to me today. Anyone know why? Or is this just another reason to uninstall this game?

Matches this evening played as normal, except both times the plane I queued stayed in battle until I performed a PC restart or a game repair using the WG Download Center.

Trying to log back in after restarting the game gave me a message ''Error receiving player details. Please try again.'' then switched the background image and I could log in as normal.

Both matches however generated no XP; starting the game via the WG Center or .exe file made no difference as I got the error message regardless.

Trying to queue a different plane dumped it back to hangar when the countdown ended; today I also had my first instance of a ''ghost plane'' going into a battle after leaving queue.

Everything was fine, well, about as good as Warplanes normally works, this afternoon.

Since last Friday though I've typically had to kill the game with task manager after closing it, only once or twice has it shut down on its own.

Same issues here, had about 6 matches where it listed me at the only participant and when the countdown finished it logged me back into a black screen and had to reload. Also had about 4 matches where with full teams listed the it took forever to load and then just logged me back to the hanger. Now it seems the server is down....

Same here. Noticed when I'm the only plane on the list, a copy of the plane is created which makes it into a match which it spends afk but comes with a nice bill for repair/rearm. It is possible to play the plane in one match while the copy is running up a bill in another. First time I backed out of the queue to retrain my pilot only to get a notice saying that the same plane lost a match while I was still in the hanger.
