I just stumbled upon this French aircraft today. The Bugatti Model 110P. It started out as a racer apparently but there were designs to turn it into a fighter. It probably could use a cockpit redesign to be a fighter but that aside it's a really nice looking aircraft. I think it would be pretty cool to see it added to the french roster, maybe as a mid tier premium fighter.

I saw this was mentioned once before in the forums back in 2013. That was before the French were added to the game though. I get that it was a racer to start and the design wouldn't make for much of a historical fighter. But for this game I think it would be a good addition with it's uniqueness. Fit it out with 4x 7.5mm machine guns. Would have to do more research into it's performance specs but I'd imagine it'd make for a pretty fast fighter.

The 209 Race/He 100 style just don't click well with 2.0 gameplay...:unsure:

WoWP makes a great jousting game...especially with the 262 and people busy in furballs...

Image result for bee gee racer

Gee Bee is too small and compact even to carry a pistol. No room in those thin wings. Enine fills most of the fuselage. Pilot has to sit back at the tail since the fuselage is so jam-packed. That shape gets more lift from the fuselage than the wings in a pylon race .. .heheh

Don't we already have a Russian lookalike that can somehow cramp four ShKAS into its nose?

I-16 is actually larger all around (by abput a meter in all dimensions)

But a truce to this mournful story

For death is a distant friend

So here's to a life of glory

And a laurel to crown each end

That's really neat to see they have the model made up for it at least! It's disappointing that video was posted 4 years ago now and still no implementation of it or a full french line. I'll keep my fingers crossed and wait patiently. Thanks for sharing the links!

Hmm whats this?

**casually Googles**

MIND. BLOWN. :amazed::great:

If Scaled Composites rolled this out in the Mojave desert today & called it their latest design I'd be impressed.

If it'd been contemporary with those '50s annular ramjets I'd have been more impressed.

For it to be a '30s design revolutionises my understanding of the evolution of aircraft/aerodynamics :child:

C'est magnifique, mais ce n'est pas le SerB.
