I'm wondering what the best tier VIII fighter is? Just want to know which fighter I should work towards. I value opinions. Thanks so much.

I think that might be subjective. What are you looking for? Something that turns well or goes fast? Something that hits hard or is easy to hit with?
Interesting to see 2 votes for I-250, I've been holding off on buying it because its such an odd seeming thing: big grunty gun and apparently fast, presumably good altitude performance being in that line but really weird looking.
Anything else/not obvious going for it?
Personally of the (admittedly fairly few) T8s I've flown Spitfire XIV was probably the best, though I do really like the La-9 too.

For best blend, I might have to give that to the Hawker line. The Tornado's 20s are pretty good for the tier, it's capable of turning with most aircraft that are faster than it and run away from a good chunk of the aircraft that turn better than it (except for Spitfires). We'll have to see what WG gives us for the other half of the line, though. Personally I've been liking a bit more the Corsair line lately, as it sacrifices the turning capacity for being able to run away from nearly anything that can outturn it (except for Mustangs), and the ordnance it gets seems pretty strong overall
Everyone that has one says the new "free" German premium tier 8 the Dornier Do 335 A-1 Pfeil is very good.
I won't know for a couple more weeks ....

Too sluggish and a tad unreliable to me...
Hmm, I'd recommend the I-250.
Fast, hits hard, still fairly maneuverable, and barely cares about it's supposedly lower alt than the Me 209 and P-51H. It has a prop and jet engine meaning you aren't 100% dead if you lose an engine and is one of the quickest tier 8 aircraft in the game. It's what I find to be the ultimate blend of power and performance for a tier 8 fighter.
You are doing some very good drugs or very bad drugs. Drugs anyway.
If you want to blow planes up fast, Ta-152 ( big ole guns )
If you want to turn, Spit XIV or Ki-94

I've had some good success with the Ki-94-II so far. It has pretty decent altitude height for a TnB plane, hard hitting guns, and turns better than anything else at tier 8. The guns are slightly mismatched though (2x20mm and 2x30mm) and it is not as durable as other planes of course. The Spitfire 14 is a good choice too, but is not as good at turning as the earlier Spitfires.
I'm not sure what you mean by "fighter", but for something other than a light fighter, the BV 210 and XF5U are fun to fly and hit hard with revolver cannons once you unlock the cannons of course.

How high altitude you can reach is mean how good you play in 1.9
that is the reason why wowp update to 2.0

That's true, but a lot of people ( including me ) couldn't get a handle on the plane and it's hard to hit guns. That is why I made the drug comment. Just joking by the way.
