First, LMG.  Thanks for the good games.  As I have mentioned in the past, I seem to never go wrong with that Spit V DB605.  The red team's aircraft always seem to just fall into the sight picture.  Sorry about the other games - the Me-410 is not meant to be used as close escort for a GAA.  Using it that way is an invitation for getting shot down in-zone.

Which brings me to NorthernPorter and Blucraft.  Thank you for reminding me not to fly low and slow in an Me-410.  That's not what it was meant for, and you put that point home with streams of pixel lead..

On another note, I decided to buy the Bf-109Z.  So far, I am impressed, but I need to fly it more to decide how much I like it.  4 x 30mm with a long heat cycle really make for chopping down bombers and other heavies. knocking off partial-health LFs and MRs might happen, too.  :)

Glad I could accommodate :).  Thanks for the shout out, it was a nice night of flying for me as well.

Enjoy the Z, it is an absolute gem of a heavy fighter at tier 7, it can give the XF5U a run for its money. I myself am at the HG II, I will warn you that if you go to the Me 262, it will be a agony of a grind at first. Get the extra guns and then the R4M as soon as you can and the plane will become more of an asset than a liability.

The HG II will make it worth it though. But again you're likely a long way from that, so again, have fun in that Z. I know i did.

Let me know if you need to pound some ground :honoring:

This is my IL-2 (t). There are many like it, but this one is mine. :child:

Funny you should mention that.  I was doing some missions just now trying to destroy 5 ground targets with my IL-2(t).  Well, I found out a couple of things:  1.)  Crash to desktop really puts a kink in your plans.  :angry face:  2.)  Leading a bot GAA into the zone and half-ruining targets means that the GAA will complete the ruination and you with therefore NOT get credit for destroying ground targets.  Assist points, sure.  Destroy points, no.  I got assit badges for both ground and air targets, w00t!  :angry face, again:

I would LOVE to pound some ground.  T5 IL-2(t) is my top plane.  I think I might have a BSH lying around as well.

The IL-2 (t) is tier VI though. At tier V there's the IL-2 and the IL-2 (mod.), with the main difference being that the IL-2 gets access to better weaponry and the (mod.) has that makeshift reargun (literally, you can see they just cut the backside of the cockpit and put a gun there). Anyways, I think maybe the Bsh-2 could be your best option for those 5 ground target kills if you're having trouble finishing the job; its 23s eat up soft buildings like pacman and the FAB-100 can deal with most armored buildings if you get the pilot skill and hit them a bit with your guns. The (mod.) gets nice 23s, but the ordnance is really lacking for the tier :sceptic:

:) You're not alone in that. I just unlocked the 410 not long ago but I learned that lesson enough times in my 210. If I ever do go low with it, I'm not going to hang around there long.

it was good flying with you and LMG last night, I had fun! Hope to see you in the friendly skies again :honoring:

Only when they're filled with more reds. It's friendlier with more blues around. Hope to see you wearing blue rather than red.

I hope you realize you weren't a pilot who flied in the sky with his plane, you were at home, in front of a monitor, making little moves with your right hand on the mouse.

I never been a BnZ type but I enjoyed the 109z. Worked well scouring the canyons and mountains, fast enough to outrun hug the hillside and maneuverable enough to pop over a ridge and behind those on the other sides 6.
