Define "need".  I enjoy a good Bf-110E flight, and I love the way the Me-410 just blows stuff up with those 30mm cannon.  The Bf-109Z is the next purchase to be considered.  Also, the BnZ life is more relaxed than Yank-n-Bank.  But damn.

The video above has it all.  RB-17s falling from the sky.  J7M like a flea - but, oho!  Flighted Pancake friend.  Just so much fun here.

Maybe certificate purchase is in my future.  Me-410, Bf-109Z, Do-335?  Oh, and all that came before.  Ao-192, Fw-57, Bf-110B - except I enjoy the TnB lifestyle, too.  What is a pilot to do?  Grind the grindy parts, buy the parts you don't want to grind, give Russians money for a game that's the weak sister of the three?  Maybe if I could talk Quesnel into flighting with me so he can TnB while I BnZ...

If this was 1.9...you'd want as many planes as you possibly can...whether how bad or good it is, all of them pay off annually...

Now? No more of that thing...

WoWP makes a great jousting game...especially with the 262 and people busy in furballs...
I am deaf, silent, and fly with unrealistic controls. Do not count on me to carry - my back's already broken from overweight.

Well, there's still one more week of Invasion and two more of Attrition - the basic missions are easy if you play them on Attrition rather than Invasion. The invasion missions are pretty cheap to buy your way through if you're so inclined (I'm not going to say they're easy - I bought my way through the Ground Attack missions for about 20+ passes and I have the B.V 212.03 for the rocket mission), but I would personally save the passes for the Attrition missions because the first two are really, really, really, REALLY grindy (its going to take me 50 battles to get past the "earn 10000CP shooting down ADFs" mission alone...)

Think of it as paying for a movie ticket or something - some entertainment for yourself. If you're going to be enjoying it, its worth the money. If you're not, forget it and spend that money on something that you enjoy.

Me, I want this plane to try for a Gabreski.

***

But a truce to this mournful story

For death is a distant friend

So here's to a life of glory

And a laurel to crown each end

Those glorious times when Gabreski flowed like water...at the expense of a poor player or two on the opposing side...

The Invasion stage of Do335 is helluva lot more manageable for sure, though...

Collect them ALL whether you need them or not.  That is my philosophy.  I do all the missions available and I have never sold a plane.

Do we need? Why not, if they were real planes, like this one!

[shrug]

*Need* is a relative term.  Technically, I don't NEED WoWP or any of the pixel pushing involved.  Within the context of the game, and the aircraft in my hangar...

That is why we are here in this forum, right?  To talk about this game we all play?  Outside reality asserts itself eventually anyway, so while we're here, we talk about WoWP.  If you want to talk existential philosophy, I'm happy to do that as well, but this probably isn't the time or place, nicht wahr?

All I wanted to say is: if the planes existed in reality, I totally agree to see them in the tech tree or like premiums. I don't like to see in the game planes who "existed" only in theory, imagination or blueprints, like some tanks in WoT. Or the XF5U. Or ....

Spoiler

On thread topic, I misread the date range for the event and thought it ended this weekend, so I bought some points towards it.  Loving the plane despite being pretty meh at the german heavy fighter line so far.

[MAHOU] flank caller in tonks, [-K-] BB main (and supertest coordinator) in botes, here to shoot some planes and have fun.

Having seen it in action, and fought against it, I think I want it now.  Odin help me, I think I'm turning into a BnZ player.

Yes, you need the 109Z.  I didn’t want it either, until I got one.  It’s fast, it’s heavily armed, and it can go high.  It’s well worth it.

You still have your tier 1 planes? Also, the Skua and the I-210 have no home in my hangar. :teethhappy:
