I dunno, is it just me or has anybody else noticed ADHFs NOT so keen to ram these days? Used to be they'd go out of their way to ram, but lately I've even noticed one or two veering off. I still get rammed occasionally, but it's mainly accidental, or my own silly fault for turning the wrong way. I can live with that.

A bot HF will not ram a live player in a HF.  They will always veer off.  If you are in anything but a HF, they wont veer off, and you should be rammed and destroyed for staying head on with a HF.

I think they still ram as often as ever, and actually go out of their way to ram. I've veered off and changed direction entirely only still to be ran through by the bot HF. Still trying to find the best way to deal with charging HF's.

The ADHFs are about as ram-happy as they've ever been. The only difference (if you could call it that) is that  I think they will sometimes veer off if the ram will also kill them in the process. That's not a guarantee either and I think you're just putting yourself in a position where they aren't going to ram you off the bat (that is, you're not in their direct line of flight) more often.

I still welcome their ram attempts - its an easy rocket kill.

bots are simply ramming more in general in my opinion now.  As stated above, Turn sooner

I actually had an interesting situation earlier where I was unable to turn away from a ram because the other guy shot off my wing

This is my IL-2 (t). There are many like it, but this one is mine. :child:

I seem to be getting rammed more during the Invasion weekend by real players than bots.

Is there one of the missions that require you to ram 5 players over so many battles.

The secondary being you must kill 2 players by ramming  during one game and survive the battle. :kamikaze:

Yeah, I'm trying too. But at what range do you typically break the attack at? I've been trying to wait to around 1800' so I can't at least get a few hits on them before breaking. And that's worked for me most of the time but there is always a few that break in the same direction. I don't want to bug out right as I seem them because It seems like that puts too much distance between us and they've zoomed off before I can reengage.

HF will break off to your left, LF and MR will break off to your right.

If you dodge a ramming attack from a bot or a player, it is a simple task to flip over and get on their tail...then its an easy kill.

A head-on ram by a bot can be avoided, but I have been rammed from other sides too ... they just fly into you from above, sides, whatever. Could be accidental, but happened to me on several occasions while I'm dog-fighting with another plane.

And indeed, they only ram in HF's ; in fighters they evade, hopefully in another direction that you take.
