Not really - some lines change a lot, but the Spits are pretty stable.
Personally I went with:
Evasive, Marksman I and Aerodynamic Expert. You could swap Evasive for Aerobatic Expert and Fire Retardant if you want or, more likely, just add those two to round up your skills at 10 points.
Note my Spits all have Lightweight Airframe and Control Surface Trim for added maneuverability (syncs with aero expert) plus the Gunsight.

But a truce to this mournful story
For death is a distant friend
So here's to a life of glory
And a laurel to crown each end

This video I think will help me a lot. Got an idea now with what I need to select as skills.

The World of Warplanes Cheat Sheet is good and it is what I use:

In a sense, there are.
Getting pilots to the point where they can get some variety is a grueling task...

WoWP makes a great jousting game...especially with the 262 and people busy in furballs...
I am deaf, silent, and fly with unrealistic controls. Do not count on me to carry - my back's already broken from overweight.

i made poor choices with pilot skills at first, so i'll assume there were others who also made poor choices before researching here
thank you WG... for the relatively cheap skills reshuffle button!
