Why do you not automatically go back to the hanger at battle end like you do on Wot and Wows.  Seems unnecessary and just downright stupid to stay on a screen that you can do nothing with and have to press another button just to get back to the hanger.

Just spam the space bar as soon as the battle ends. You'll go back to the hanger before the post battle result screen even pops up

Personally I prefer the end results screen before the hangar, it feels more natural than the sudden "stop and exit" I saw on WoWS, which I thought was somewhat anti-climatic. However, I wouldn't mind if they added an option to skip it entirely :bajan:

This is my IL-2 (t). There are many like it, but this one is mine. :child:

It gives you a chance to talk to the enemy team, or your own team to offer a GG. or a <0.

Socializing with bots must be very interesting. Do they respond at your greetings?

They usually initiate the conversation.  FYI there are live people on each team.

WOWS doesn't put you back in port, you get a battle end report and have to click or hit escape to get back to your ship. Or quite conveniently, click the battle button and queue up again without going to port at all.

I do agree they should add a battle button to the end screen to queue up again

That's what I like about it too.  I try to be the friendly sort out there and sometimes I like to compliment a pilot on a job well done, no matter which team they might have been on.

that's true, but so few pilots use that opportunity for anything constructive
