Update to 1/20/2019. The problem still not solved yet.
Not sure what is the reason, but I could not get anywhere higher than 15 fps after the patch (2.0.4).
My system should have enough horsepower to run the game in the mid-high setting:
- CPU: 1950X OC@ 4.0Ghz
- GPU: RX VEGA 64 (current driver ver. 19.1.1)
- RAM: 32GB OC@ 3200Mhz
- 500GB SAMSUNG 970 PRO
All other games run perfectly, including
- World of tanks 1.3 max setting ~90 fps.
- Resident Evil 7 max setting ~100 fps.
- Monster Hunter World high setting ~75 fps.
- FORZA Horizon 4 high setting ~100 fps.
But only WOWP have this issue.
I did try reinstall windows 10 multiple time and reinstall the game inside multiple different drives, but still not working.
One thing I notice that is when I was playing WOWP, the "GPU usage" LED indicator on my Graphic card only light up about 20%. However When I play other games, the indicator light up entirely(100%).
One funny thing is that my ultralight laptop with i7 6600U and GT940M can run the game in mid-setting with ~60 fps.
It has been almost one year after I reported this issue, and WG hasn't even touched it.
