Sorry if this has been answered but I could not find anything newer than from 2016.  What happens to extra Westwall Certificates after the event ends?  E.G I need 9 certificates the smallest amount I can buy is 10 what happens that that unused one?

Thanks MARS. So either I'm good/lucky enough to finish them all or I waste money. Great

Well yeah, either you are good enough to get them for free, or you pay for them... that sup to you.  I agree though, they should allow for single certificates to be sold.  I haven't checked out how much certificates are needed to complete missions, are they in multiples of 10? or are they odd amounts?

WG is in it to make $$ so just think of it as paying the smallest amount (10 certificates) to receive both planes.

All the missions I've noticed have been odd number and I just thought it odd that you couldn't buy individual certificates if you needed them. I'm not upset about them wanting the money if I want the planes bad enough at the end I'll open the wallet, but I kinda disagree with giving WG a donation simply because I need an odd number of Certificates.

I think the smallest you can buy is 20, for roughly $0.57 each.  If you buy the full amount (216), they are roughly $0.37 each.  So they price is scaled by bulk.  If you were to buy singles the price for each would be even higher.  Similar to shopping at Costco.

I see what your saying but it's not the price of the certificates that bothers me.  I just don't understand why they would do the event this way.  If you are going to sell the certificates in groups of 10,20,100, etc.  Why make the missions, 5,7,9, etc and not sell them individually.  I would rather pay $5 for 5 individual certificates then be forced to spend $9 for 20 knowing that some of that is going to waste because I only need 5.

Because the business would rather make $9 than $5.

I'll give you a hint... one of the packages is 216 certs, exactly.

And individual missions are all odd numbers.... 7,8,9...11... ect. (By odd, I mean not rounded to the nearest 5 / 0... and I'm sure some are, by coincidence)

I understand that its a business but this pricing only serves to alienate your customers and looks like a money grab.  Who wants to pay money for essentially nothing?  And I realize that no one is twisting my arm or making me buy anything, my real point is if they gave me 100 gold or whatever for the unused certificates then I would be fine with the deal I just don't want to be forced to buy a bulk products that essentially expire and become useless when the event ends.

And yes I see the irony about spending money on nothing when I am talking about buying digital planes.

You could also just game the system, and work out which missions you don't complete in order to minimize the amount of unused certificates.  Maybe you could get them to add up to an even 20.

That's True.  I'm going to grind out as many as possible anyway so I guess I'll just see how it pans out.  Thanks again MARS.

Ahh thats probably cuz of the abysmal communications between wowp and its player base.

Look at the wowp game site page now go to WOWS the wowp site is pretty pathetic really and the amount of info or news they release to us is about the same.

Sent them a ticket asking about it and was basically shrugged off.

Money/budget for wowp... should not be an issue as WOT on PC earns WG a cool half billion a yr by itself.

l swear they have a few overworked minions locked up in a garage somewhere in Texas pumping out their current content

Oh apparently in the near future they plan to release news of new plans for 2018...probably as soon as they figure them out. lf that turns out like the last few l think the anticipation will kill me... sigh....

So yeah l really think that wowp needs to up their game and real soon as the credibility that a decent/active game site offers might just help attract more players. Not to mention the complete overhaul of their event mission focus after Albion and now West...fall/fail.

News, articles, promos, interviews, devs plans/ideas, players Q&A, etc. etc. all wrapped in a vibrant website gee who would think that might work for them to improve/grow the game.

The last time I bought certificates and had excess, WG gave me gold reimbursement. Cross your fingers.

For the same reason hot dogs come in packages of 10 and hotdog buns in packages of 8. Why can't I just buy single hotdog buns?

Not the same thing,  You can still eat your other two hotdogs without buns.  With the certificates if you need 17 and can only buy 20 they are selling you three certificates that you can't use for anything.  But I do agree there should be even numbers of hotdogs and buns in packages.
