I'm new trying to like this game. I spend time trying to grind up some aircraft. I'm just ready to use my new plane. You put in this dumb Westwall. I don't have the planes for it. It is tedious and there's no way out of it even though I can't really play it. Massive fail! I've already uninstalled this game once out of boredom and frustration. It won't be long before it's gone completely with game management like this.

You basically took my two highest level planes and made them unusable for the entire weekend after I just spent the time to earn them.

Wankers!

this mode was an interesting idea, but it seems to be hard to balance it out so that both sides have an equal chance

next weekend is Attrition, so fly a bit this week to get ready for it

my friends tell me that i'm unable to concentrate long enough to cap the map points, but i can kill planes if i'm not interrupted

so maybe this next mode will be one that allows me to repair my WR?

ah who knows...

Let me know if you feel the same way once you get higher tier planes and are looking for something to do.  There are many events throughout the year, some for newer players, some for veterans.  The event is over till Friday, so you have time to use your new planes.  And if you want to grind up other lines, the regular mode is still available tiers 1 - 3.

For the record. I still hate it a couple days later!

Creating an event where new players are forced into scenarios they have no chance to even compete in is ridiculous. Your suggestion that this is the only way for older players to remain entertained is a bit short sighted. Any GOOD game designer is going to handle both sets of users without STOMPING on one over the other.

I had 1 level 4 aircraft and it was an attack aircraft. I went from making decent money to making 1 or 2k per battle. This type of event was game design popcorn, boring and repetitive grind [edited]. It's corporate shill game design and so I guess in ultimate answer to your response I would say...

"I seriously doubt this game can hold my attention long enough for me to get to a future where I share your perspective."

This game will be gone for me in a few weeks more tops and I'll never spend a penny on it :)

It's like in the 80's when corps figured out how to make a "plug and play" band... this is the same thing in the gaming world, corporate run junk game in the end.

You sound like one of those people that can never be made happy no matter what.  These are new game modes, the same as 2.0 is a new game mode from the previous.  Take a look at the big picture, not just the 1 event on 1 weekend that didn't go your way.

Your first complaint was not having the planes to participate in the event, and not being able to use your new tier 4, even though it can be used, just making less $ at it.

Now you're complaining about the general gaming industry as a whole...

New weekend, what was a pleasant experienced turned to boredom once this event starts. All I do is get slaughtered, there is no point to anything just fly out die rinse repeat. This game needs more depth not this corporate, grinding tripe.

Off to find a game worth playing on a Friday night... this is so annoying.

I had fun in my first two games. Ground Attack and bombers are surprisingly important in Attrition but the removal of the cap counter mechanic means I have more time to go out and dogfight. Again, feels like a couple of good pilots can make a huge difference. We'll see as the game goes on

But a truce to this mournful story

For death is a distant friend

So here's to a life of glory

And a laurel to crown each end

I think he means bands like The Monkees, created by a corporation, for a corporation.

Sometimes it's nice to take a break from the game or fly tier 1-3.

Complain much?  MARS is right  about "end game" content for long time players.  When these missions come out players come out of the woodwork to play.  Did you see how many players were online during the event?  I personally appreciate them expanding the content occasionally and making things interesting.  YOu should work up multiple lines and especially the GA line to the IL-40P as that makes many of these types of missions much easier.  Diversify your plane portfilio.  I have somewhere between 205 and 210 planes in the hangar (have not counted in a while) so when things like thi happen I always love to grab a couple extra planes even if it means a giant grind.  You just gotta love to fly also...

I would have said Journey, which was part of the corporate rock movement as it was called at the time. Foreigner, REO Speedwagon are the other two big groups of the movement.

The overall thought is wildly mistaken. The Monkees were brought together to make a TV sitcom, and along the way made some good music. Third most valuable music catalog.

Another example. a producer flew Jimi Hendrix to London and put him in a studio with a drummer and bassist, said you will be called the Jimi Hendrix Experience, start playing. They did some good stuff too.

The Sex Pistols was entirely Malcom Mcllaran's idea, another producer who assembled the band.

The list goes on and on, and in virtually all genres. OP is mistaken, it can produce great results

I appreciate your feedback on the modes. Its absolutely important that you express it in a constructive manner so we can make the game more fun. I apologize that you do not like it, but keep in mind it's not permanent.

no matter how you feel this for most is a big improvement over the last events

1. you are not restricted to only one nation or side you can fly both Axis ,and Allied AC

2. The event runs all day not just a few hours of the day causing many to miss it due to work or other like  activities

2. If you dont want to play the event you can just use lower tiers not in use for the event.

I can't say that I like this game mode as much as the normal game mode, but maybe somebody does.  As long as I still get to fly and shoot the place up the game mode doesn't that matter too much to me.

If they would NOT [edited]force us to do the secondary [edited], it would be fine. World of Tanks doesn't force you to do additional tasks. Why the [edited]is it okay in warplanes?
