Hah! If I have to play 80+ more games to get out of my F2G, I'll poke my eyeballs out with chicken bones.  IE This game causes more pain than it helps. lol

Just don’t....

I got the XF15C just fine but the Dornier....nothing but problems.

I’ve heard of WG support horror stories and never believed it to be true as I’ve never had this kind of issue. Save yourself from this frustration.

The only thing I can think of is that you missed an early mission and haven't found it yet.  You need "completed with distinction" vs "completed" for all the missions.

Someone else mentioned that and I wish that were the case, but everything is complete in full leading up to mission 15. Support says they’re aware of this issue and the devs are working on a patch in a response I just got moments ago....supposedly.

Ok, so, it is 215 certificates for 1 plane or for the 2 of them? Because these jelleyfish brains gave some fancy names for those bundles but didn't bother at all to explain how many you need for a plane.

216 certificates for one plane or the Marathon bundle, it appears there is no issue using it for the XF15C. I and another have confirmed this. But I repeat, if you choose to use it for the Dornier, you do this at your own risk. There is a bug that won’t let you use the certificates on mission 15. It will also freeze it, so should you complete the mission naturally as have I. You won’t even be credited for it.

Thanks! No, I don't have the intention to buy those planes. First, I don't play US planes at all, second, the german heavy seems to have dissapointed the players who bought it.

The XF15 is disappointing as well. Almost regretting that purchase. But, it makes bank for credits and XP.

Frankly, a lot of the non-GA T8 premium planes seem to not be worth anything these days, especially since the last patch. The Seafang appears to have been nerfed into oblivion since its peak in 1.9. That thing used to be an assassin. Now it turns like a 262. While GA have suffered less, the drastic increase in dispersion on the il-10m almost makes it useless for hunting anything other than GA, and it has a hard time even hitting those. I had quite a few aces in that thing in 1.9. Sigh....

Yeah the X15 makes like 400-500 on an 8k game victory. Yup I spent $100 to skip all the missions I didn't want to spend 3-4 hours grinding through.  I actually had like 20ish certs left over.

BTW the game mode gets fun when not constantly having to think about what will get you the most happy mission points to advance the series.  Now I can get into a match and do wthever.

Yeah, these two planes are completely not worth the time or money.  Neither are particularly better than most of the other 'regular' planes on that tier.  I've shot up enough of them now to know it's not for me.

also you just KNOW they will sell these planes for like 20 bucks in two months anyways.  This event is garbage.  Albion was more fun and gave more reward for playing. this...this is just sadomasochism in digital form.

Buy an RB-17 for $50 (the certs are $70) and fly above all the c...c...craziness. Prints 100K+ win or lose (win can be north of 250K) every time you climb to 3kms to s...s...stomp on everyone from a height. F...f...forget Westwall...

XF15 - 400k per 8k personal victory.  Do335 - 300k for a 7k victory.  Based on just a few battles each.  You need to get 14k person victory for 300k.
