I like the P39N, but it folded like a cheap suit under the guns of an F4U

interesting that you buff the turns on your p39. Most would consider the guns and speed to be the biggest advantage with good turning coming 3rd. I upgrade by the school of highlight your positive attributes before you buff the weakness. What kind of 180 or 360 turn times do you get buffed?

Well, supposedly the thing turns well already, so I make it turn better.  Engine tuning is the other thing.  Then I do the pilot buff that enhances those two things.  The next two-point buff I get, I'll upgrade the pilot's aiming skill.

I've mostly been running a speed build using my P-40 pilot with both Engine Gurus & Aerodynamics Expert skills, equipment Engine Tuning, Polish & Lightweight Airframe.

But it still turns well enough not to need to go for BnZ tactics (& isn't really fast enough for it), somehow don't seem to often wind up in turn fights with Spit/A6M/Yaks.

Have been considering switching out Engine Guru2 to Aerobatics Expert + another 2pt skill (is an 8pt -> would have 2pts over), maybe Cruise Flight or Marksman 1.

Actually running my distinctly unoptomised A-26B pilot currently since I want to get his points up over the Gunner -> the extra Crew XP will go only to the Gunner instead of alternating.

C'est magnifique, mais ce n'est pas le SerB.

I have been having a LOT of fun with the Airbonita, the 37mm cannon takes people by surprise and absolutely hammers targets typically seen at T5

Who needs a p39 anyway.

Can anyone tell me why the P-39N-1 isn't awarding me my nose art, camo, or anything else when its says, "Camo Mastery" and I bougt the Ace Bundle to get the mission, and I shot down 40 other players yet I have no special camo awarded, nose art, or anything else

Check with support maybe? I don't have the bundle so I can't tell myself.

P39Q is better than the P39N or the XFL.

P39Q isn't in the game is it?

in T6 ....  Bell P-39Q-15 Airacobra      own it, flown it once, did reasonably well, recommend it to pilots that like TnB planes

in WT, it was painted a god-awful gold or yellow color, and it seemed to me to be sluggish, but works perfectly here in the wowp meta

A significant number of the P-39 Airacobra were supplied to the U.S.S.R. under the Lend-Lease program.
The P-39Q-15 was a lighter version that had no wing-mounted weapons.
