Unless I just didnt notice.. could you make it so we could see a bigger screenshot of each mod. The current preview is a tad small on my screen.

Its like drsinister's mod pack installer. But the features differ and this one is up to date with the current client.

Im interested with the server and replay mod. May try it out. But with the current crashing and the server dc issues I may rethink that choice. Great selections for mods tho. Thanks hakabase!

Changing object's size of installer is a big job, man.
Actually, you can get more info by visiting modder's page.

Sever selector,in itself, just a link, an modified "scripts_config.xml" which added two more links for connecting EU and RU server. Works or not, stable or not, totally depends on each client and server.

Looks pretty good. I do notice that Detroit Miss has two sets of roundels on it. I don't know which belongs and i don't remember how to ditch one.

Nice work, here is what i know, I am also currently updating my installer pak.

Ok, so what wargaming did was to compress as much of it as they could, They used the file extension of .pkg, it can be opened and extracted with Win-Rar, do not know if windows systems will see it.

Graphics files

The stock directory of ALL of the .pkg files are located inside of the world_of_warplanes(_NA)/res/packages folder.

The GUI.PKG file is the one that you want, extract to folder and everything there is basically the visual portion of the game files.

Aircraft skins

The VEHICLE_AIRPLANE_#.PKG files are the one that you want, extract to folder and everything in the game will be extracted.

Please note that You Need Not extract the standard and the HD files, if you want shiney extract the HD, if you want normal, get the ones without the HD.

DO NOT extract both sets, you must be silly if you were even thinking about it.

Camera files and other game control files

Look in the \World_of_Warplanes\res\scripts\db folder, there are a bunch of .xml files.

These files are compressed .xml files, normally not readable without special and expensive software, but can be viewed in its compressed non editable form using Notepad++

Special Event Items

The stock folder for these files is C:\Games\World_of_Warplanes\res\content.

These files are the Special event items for Hanger View items.

Game audio items

C:\Games\World_of_Warplanes\res\audio, you will need advanced audio and programming knowledge to do these, have fun.

  • Looks like there will be 3 Camera mods available (Still tuning my version) thank you to mnbv and Dr. sinister for your versions.
  • Most of the Hawkeye Skins work
  • Splash screen working
  • The waiting circle pigeon is working
  • The HUD arrows should be fine with all previous available
  • It may be able to to change the Bombing Recticles
  • Tracers should be fine, need to reformat some of the images
  • Bullet tracer trails, you know the swirly line behind the bullet, should be fine with new folder locations
  • Prediction target locks and enemy direction markes are completely different, needs reworking.
  • Plane HUD direction arrow markers will be able to be edited, nothing exists as of yet.

If you want to make god laugh, tell him about your plans for survival..

I think you can read these using wottools 0.5.3 multy.exe, which you can get here.

You can then save the file as a regular xml, then use it in the WoP\res_mods folder where if present, it will get used instead of the compiled xml version in the res folder.
