Yes, that's one tough sell you got there. You'd have to ply me with a lot of sake to strap me into some of those crates. To actually get me to take off nothing short of threatening to post me to WoP's Quality Assurance Department would do it.

But good luck- Banzai!

I think I have 2 of 3 of those premiums... I'll try and remember to use them in my stream tonight as well.

The Ki 94 is the one that piques interest, but it looks like a tough one to fly

It is interesting IE not at all like any of the other Japan planes. BUT, Play it like a Boom and Zoom and work on leading those awesome cannons and it will wreck. And do not forget that those Bot Bombers are easy pickings for you in it.

The Ki-94-I looks like an inferior Bf 109 Z in its performance stats, so it really doesn't interest me.

The 109 Z was an alright plane, but it got boring fast, so it is definitely not the type of plane I'd want to own as a premium. Plus an inferior 109 Z would probably be terrible.

The point of a premium isn't to be as good as a tech tree plane.  The point of one is to make earning credits easier and, to a lesser extent, make crew training faster. A tier 7 premium will make good credits.  And, since it has the same bnz type playstyle that the Zero line turns into, it would be a decent credit grinder and crew trainer for someone who likea that line.

Unlike "the other WWII flying game", WG'S premiums aren't the equivalent of maxed out tech tree planes (with a few exceptions).

I find that some premiums which look terrible on paper, like the Tomahawk IIb, have amazingly strong credit modifers.  So, since credits aren't based on winning, just combat points, a plane that isn't ideal in its class or tier may do great at earning credits.  Of course, the player has to be willing to give up some capability in exchange for that extra credit generation.

It may sound counter-intuitive that you'll earn more credits in a worse plane.  But, like I said, some of the planes that look bad on paper get big credit earnings bonus modifier (it would be nice if this modifier was listed in the premium plane's stats).
