Some of the 10 "freemiums" I got from codes/events/etc in recent weeks are pretty nice, and it really helps with game enjoyment to have the expanded hangar.  :D  There are not enough hangar slots to work with.  I particularly like the XP-31 and Venom.  The most difficult for me to adjust to is the Tomahawk IIb. (I guess the XP-31 cost $1, but essentially free)

Unfortunately the Albion event was during my work hours so I didn't get any planes from those Albion loot crates.  :/

Neither did I.

Remember, remember the 14th of... June, the day of patch 2.05.  Some say it's great end-game content, some say it's horrible, but history will always recall which it actually was.

In personally low skilled opinion, the Tomahawk IIb is over-tiered.  I think the Hawk 81s (XP40 - P40C, Tomahawks) should be T4s, and the Hawk 87s (P40D - P40N, Kittyhawks) should be T5s.

my 81-A1 at T4 feels pretty anemic, I think the 30 cals in the wings would make her very solid, and the IIb, while it can have good games, I feel like it's a bit light in the firepower.

Quesnel summed up both Tier V Premium P-40s perfectly: Tomahawk IIb "better as a dream than a reality"  and P-40 M-105 "terror in the skies"

You should try the P-40 M-105 with universal ammo. FLAMETHROWER MODE! :izmena::playing::B

"So, tell me, Mr. Air Defense Beaufighter, how do you want your plane? ROASTED, OR FLAMBE'D?"

You like the Venom? It looks like a crappy version of the Spitfire in every possible way. I mean even the engine only produces 600 horsepower. I never bothered with it 'cause of its awful paper-stats.

Venom is a nice little premium. I've flown it a couple of times and its good enough as a credit grinder and pilot trainer. Its main weakness is that it cannot hard carry; you stick yourself in a cap and defend it to the death but its too slow to move from crisis point to crisis point... kinda like the Boomerang which is my tier 5 steed of choice. I always prefer cannon.

I don't have any experience with spitfires.  I played a game or three (I forget) in the Venom and it was always satisfying.

Aerodynamic is synonymous with sleek and sexy with few exceptions.  The Bristol 146 come to mind.  The butt ugliest of the butt ugly is the Wilga.

Image result for Wilga

Oh, I dunno. I have a soft spot for the Amiot 143. I hope they release it as a French bomber because I would totally fly that tub. It has character

The XF4F-3 is quite weak in the agility department, but makes quite a lot of credits for a tier 4. And of course, the P-39N-1 is absolutely awesome.

F2A-1 and the Boeing clone of it are strong at T3, but it's basically sealclubbing at that point, and plus, it makes fewer credits and XP.
