Greetings Pilots!

Patch 2.0.3 will be released tomorrow, January 11th, 2017.

Downtime during the implementation of the patch will approximately take 4 hours.

The World of Warplanes server will be unavailable starting at 12:00 PST (03:00 EST) and will expect to go back live at 04:00 PST (07:00 EST).

Thank you for your patience and understanding!

Where are the patch notes? I don't see them posted anywhere. I know what they say(I've seen them) but where are they? When will they be posted?

Random Thoughts Of The Day:

World of Warplanes? More like World of Bots-that-are-designed-to-fail-so-you-lose-as-often-as-you-win.

Heavy Fighters? More like Obsolete Flying Bricks.

Attack Aircraft? More like Bomber-wannabes.

just from a quick viewing, does the EU forum get salty pretty quickly, or was it my imagination?

wouldn't you think that the NA forum should be the world's leader in generally unhelpful posts?

LoL, not quite sure how to read this, but I have a mid-Atlantic perch so to speak, so here goes.

First let's talk speak- players are scarce enough on the ground all over (maybe WG should just try 1 single WoP server?), so on EU they tend to flock to English no matter their level of proficiency at it. That can make it harder to understand, it can also make the language- if unhappy- a lot blunter.

All in all it's a little like Britain in 1940- slight pause and shudder here as he recalls the Skies of Albion- the English are polite, the assorted other squadrons struggling with English- Poles, Czechs, Slovaks ++- can be cruder, but that's usually because they're looking for an appropriate swear word to express their frustration with WoP 2.0, and it often begins with an f.

Unhelpful posts and NA forum the world's leader in generally unhelpful posts. I think the others can share the glory here on unhelpful- and very helpful- posts- another slight pause and shudder here as he considers the RU forum. If it's mine, I do try, and in this case it did get OP the info he wanted from a WG EU staff member. If it's the WG EU staff member, he tried too. If it's the comments, well- language aside- I share a lot of their concerns, especially when I read about some of the 2.0.3 improvements:

Maps and Graphics

"Adriatic" and "Arctic" maps have been visually improved.

Adriatic:

  • Added glaciers in the southeast corner around the refinery.
  • Added swimming whales in various places in the water.
  • Reworked the salt lake area, changed the shape of lakes and also reworked how steam is displayed.
  • Added villages in the eastern part of the map.
  • Added a forest near the military base.

Arctic:

  • Improved the level of detail in the coastal area. Added underwater reefs.
  • Reworked the clouds to add a picturesque touch to the map.
  • Added additional objects in the mountains surrounding the Mining Plant.

Al least we know some of what Persha's elves have been focusing and working on through the holidays though, don't we? JC, someone might draw the wrong conclusion and think Persha was a Graphics Art Design Studio and did games programming as a casual side line.
