I've been wanting to enable replays so I can maybe start producing some content, however all the previous guides for enabling replays reference a "Game Tab" in the settings- unfortunately this tab seems to be missing from my settings menu, which leaves me unable to enable replays. Has this option been moved somewhere else in the menu (I've pretty thoroughly gone through the menu...) or will I have to edit some obscure .ini file like with WoWS?

Free Game Recorder - Bandicam

if the pilot's good, see, I mean, if he's really..sharp, he can barrel that baby in so low [he spreads his arms like wings and laughs],

you oughtta see it sometime, it's a sight. A big plane like a '52. VRROOM! There's jet exhaust, fryin' chickens in the barnyard.

Pfft, OBS for local save records, that way you do not have to have Bandicam watermark.

Besides that the new AMD software and the Nvidia software has built in recorders also.

There isn't an in-game recorder? I've definitely seen references to an in-game replay recorder, including a couple of how-tos from Wargaming- were these removed with 2.0 or something?

nope... they fixed our wagon when they released 2.0...

and in doing so they cut their nose off to spite their face...

I'm a big fan of Nvidia Shadowplay.  If something interesting happens, I just press 2 keys and save the last 5 minutes of gameplay.  Or, you can record the whole match with another 2 keys if I anticipate something interesting happening.

I like that feature of shadowplay too. Just a shame I can't record multiple mic audio tracks with it like for group gaming sessions.

Other WoWP regions are complaining for the lack of replay function too btw.

Yep, Radeon ReLive works exactly the same way, but you can record up to the last 20 minutes, maybe more it's been a while since i set the limit.

Be careful you have enough hard drive space using some screen capture software, especially if you set it to high def. Fraps for example, makes very large files that are split every 4GB. A 10 minute match on high res will amount to a whole bunch of those 4GB blocks.

Yup definitely removed replay, wonder if it was because they wanted to head off the slew of videos showing "the good old days".

Free wise:

OBS is great we use it at work to record distance courses.

I use Active Presenter for work tutorial videos, but its a little bit more than you might need.

not a fan of the nvidia or amd ones, but i think they would have been fine if i hadn't already had experience with the first 2.

I use OBS for local recording of TeamSpeak and Discord conversations that I can use against people later on.  Its also good for gaming and Twitch broadcasting.

The replay functionality is planned to come back in the future. Since so much was changed with 2.0 the replay function of old would not work with the new programming, so it has to be re-worked back into the client. As of right now I don't have a date for that release.
