I found this bit of information. Is this true GhostPrime?

WG NA (PC) RELOCATING

by Rita Sobral WoT

Hello,
I was contacted by a sturdy anonymous source with the small piece of news:
The North American Wargaming office in San Francisco aka Emeryville is planned to close doors and relocate to Austin, Texas.
These changes are probably happening after the very end of March and the current staff will have the option to re-apply for positions under a new corporate structure.
It is not much to go on but I felt that you would be interested in knowing.

At least I can catch your Twitch broadcasts sooner. How will this affect the servers?

This isn't surprising. A lot of big corporations have moved some of their offices to Texas. San Fran and California in general is super expensive to do business in. The Texas tax structure and cost of living is FAR more favorable.

In short, I wouldn't read into this at all. This is a smart business decision on their part.

The dirty secret Silicone Valley and the high tech community does not want you to hear. More and more of the R&D and programming jobs move to different locales around the country. California is going tax themselves right out of anyone beginning able to live there and pay them.

This is a fact. CA sucks big time.

If they do move it, makes one wonder if they will fire all the employees that don't want to move with it. We may get some actual customer service...at least for 3 months before they disappear back in the inter-webs.

That is pretty much exactly what happens. It's cut throat when these things happen.
