Hey all,

 

  I got a mission for the tornado, which I don't understand the plane.  It isn't premium --- yet as far as I can tell -- can't be researched?  Sooo... what the heck?  It is T6 U.K. Multirole

 

Part 2 requires 100 bomber kills.  If I join a game w/o a command center and I leave right away -- is there a penalty to it?  I only have 14 hours left on it.  Yes I'd feel like a [edited], but it is necessary.

 

Part 3 requires 3x Marsaille medals, which is NUTS.  Thats 3x games where I must kill 17 planes in 1 sortie and WIN.

 

Maybe if I could use my I-15bisDM, but she is T3.  WTFFFFFF

I was in the same predicament as you are.

1. I completed the 15 kill requirement with my I-17.

2. Bomber/GAA kills: Took me about 35 games; I-17, F4U-1,Me410, Fw190A5, Spitfire IX, Beaufighter. These were the planes I used. Used to shoot down GAAs and bombers. In the early part, I had some issues with command center bomber kills registering...lost about 20 or so kills. Eventually I concentrated on each game...could get 2-5 kills per match. Its a roll of dice.

3. Too much trouble. Could get one medal but it was getting too boring. So spent some spare tokens (all collected from previous SoA chests)...

 

You can choose to let it go. Its gonna be a part of the regular TT soon.

Right now the planes are "special", but will be added to the tech tree after the Skies of Albion event ends in a few days. They are already tied in - if you look at the Spitfire V, it can be unlocked from the Tornado. So wait a bit and you can grind them out.

I don't have any tokens, so it would cost me 1,750 gold to unlock the tornado (part 3).

 

If it is not premium -- I don't think it is worth it; I already have everything U.K. past tier 6.

 

What do you all think?

It's going to be in the tech tree soon. Then it will only cost XP and silver

If you don't have the tokens lying idle already, DON'T get it with tokens. Will be available of TT soon.

Thanks all for the replies.  Sucks to let a mission go, but I'd rather get it with credits than 1750 gold.

 

Shame they are giving tech tree planes as rewards.

I wouldn't bother.  You'll be able to unlock it via the Hurricane line soon enough.
