So my last one got deleted and I was given a warning because I told the devs their skill level in development lawls.. ok fair enough. I used to work for Wargaming. I know how they are, but my anger got the better of me. It even says in the EULA that you don't insult or say anything negative about the devs, you must always treat them like perfect gods that can do no wrong. Alright, fair enough. Their game their rules.

So lets try this again, this time while I kiss the devs and tell them how much I love getting screwed.

So previously I quit WoWs because of a bug I got. The event when the first bombers were released in 2.0, I got a bug where the event wouldn't update. It was lsomething like get 1k capture points for 2 gold tokens.. Wouldn't budge past that point. I played for a week, nothing.. 0/1,000 points... I got pretty upset because I had over half the bomber parts, then this happens... Thanks WGing made me feel special inside.

I sent in tickets, with no response.

I uninstalled..

-----------------

Decided to try again, saw an Albion event was going on. Perfect time to try again right?

30 minutes to Albion Event, sweet I thought. Read the in-game information about it, which told me almost nothing about it. (I love how inherently un descriptive and unhelpful everything is about the event, etc. The constant guessing on everything keeps me on my toes!)

So the time flips over, a screen pops up I choose Axis, and click Play.. I get put into 5 normal matches.. A little confused as I thought I was supposed to be getting points, or seeing points.. But nothing is happening just normal matches. I made sure i was playing the appropriate aircraft. My BF 109 tier V.. Yea everything checks out, the plane even had a special little tag next to it showing me it was indeed good for the event.. I played for 2 hours, and agian nothing special... well this certainly is disappointingly dull...

I logged off to eat, came back 30 mins later.. oh wait.. whats this? 39,000/45,000 points.. wait.. THIS is albion? I play 2 more matches.... oooh ALBION matches.. so THIS is what I was suppossed to be getting those last 2 hours... Thanks WGing!

So I got 1 loot crate.. and literally 2, 5 miinute matches... The matches were such a complete steam roll in favor of the allies... Axis bots flying in circles by themselves, while the allied bots systematically jumped from 1 objective to the next at the same time, focusing down the same targets... Both matches ended up the same. I spawn in at the start, go to an objective shoot down 2 planes, get dog piled by 5, respawn, and the game is literally over... LITERALLY over.. starting at the end result screen... 5-8 minute matches at best.... with 1 spawn, and getting shot down.. I didn't spend longer than a minute at the objective after my first spawn that's how fast the matches were....

This is a joke right? super early April Fools day?

"You have x games" is not an argument, or defense for anything. It's a last ditch attempt to save face when you have nothing else to argue your point with.

We the forgotten of the WG trilogy welcome you to the asylum and will hide the sedatives so you become like the rest of us. Yes playing the Axis side in this one is a forlorn hope. Your hope of winning is pretty forlorn, but you go in do your best and just get on with it regardless. Was the 1000 bomber mission is a single sortie? The WG devs probably have a voodoo doll of you in the office because you told them off. Good for you, but like you said it is their rice bowl. Got that one for the Steve McQueen movie that they made in China about the Yangste river patrol boat.

It allows you to select your team something like 2 hours before the event begins.  If the time was before 6pm eastern time (IIRC), you're not participating yet.  You should get a count-down timer for when the confrontation begins.

Edit:  For the record, the Allies usually win.  You're not likely to see much success on the Axis side.

I wish they would have allowed the use of any plane you wanted as I have mostly allied planes. I would have played for axis more if they had...And maybe they could have picked randomly what side you were on if you could use your favorite planes...just a thought....

The should have done /something/ to help balance things out.  The simple fact is, there are a lot more Allied planes to choose from; it's no shocker that there are likely to be more players on the Allied side.

Such measure used to be visibly exist...now it's either invisible or not existing at all. Axis used to win at a rate like once per 4-5 Allies wins, when Axis's starting bonus proved overwhelming even with all Allied hands working overtime for 2 hours (yes, it used to be 2 hours).

Maybe they should move away from Allies vs Axis for this kind of event...this historical format is...well you know what it is...

WoWP makes a great jousting game...especially with the 262 and people busy in furballs...

yes, they should change the game to PvE and offer a PvP mode separately.
In Theory, there is no difference between Theory and Practice.
In Practice, there is.

In ships they did an event called "Clash of the Elements" where people chose their team, either fire or water.  Whatever ships they played contributed to their team's win/loss.  Once picked, they were with that team until the end.  If they are married to the Axis/Allies format, they should let the Russians and French be switch hitters.

Yes that is why it makes things more of a challenge playing for the Axis side. Not only are you outnumbered two to one, but then you need to think out how to co-ordinate things. There could be a ceiling of the numbers of players per side. People play the Allies because they know it is sure win for double the loot. If they capped the number of people per side, then the out come may become a little different.

I think that people play allies more because of the number of planes to choose from than they do the guaranteed wins/ loot crates.  Honestly the loot crates seem pretty lame, and I could not possibly care less about them.
