Curious, why was the Yak-3RD removed from the shop and Soviet TT?

I have the plane already, so not crying because I can't buy it.  Just my curiosity why it was removed from both the premium shop and the Soviet TT.  It's a fun plane, but I wouldn't consider it OP.  As well it doesn't seem to be overly popular to where it is seen in mass numbers to ruin games as the E25 allegedly was. 

 

Again curious.

Just the usual rotation of premium vehicles...only that Planes had done so for the very first time.

WoWP makes a great jousting game...especially with the 262 and people busy in furballs...

In December, the announced they were removing some premiums and making some premiums that had been special/gift planes available to replace them.

 

Both sets of planes (previously available and currently available) were available for purchase in the premium shop for several weeks after wg announced the then coming rotation. 

 

The Yak 3rd was replaced by the La 9rd.
