I can maybe see using it on bombers or heavy fighters but seems kind of pointless on planes that you're constantly going to be in close range of your targets. How effective is it though?

Not even worth a thought.

It used to be worth getting in a GA, but that was before the bots, which seem to ignore such things.  I don't think in the meta of 2.0 it's worth getting even if it does have an effect.
Fly crooked and shoot straight.

It is currently useless, but I still apply it to all my planes as it changes depending on the map, so it gives you something different to look at.  Consider it the same as nose art or emblems.

With active combat being the concern, it is doubtful that proper camo would be of any value...

WoWP makes a great jousting game...especially with the 262 and people busy in furballs...
I am deaf, silent, and fly with unrealistic controls. Do not count on me to carry - my back's already broken from overweight.

it says 10% concealment, but it's just a guessing game what that really means

I only get it if I see a cool one for the plane I am flying.

Now that I have plenty of credits, I buy it for 7 days unless I can get silver paint. Silver paint first.

Ground attack aircraft it is worth getting, helps when you are solo traveling from one cap to another and you are down low.

Since AI attacks the first enemy plane they see, it seems to work on my GA's as I fly under the AI's spawn point.

I have tested this and it does NOT work for GA or any plane. Even between sectors you can be spotted for over 2000m away. Once you are in a section the defense planes spot you as well.

It is purely decoration right now.

Do we know if it works against AA?

If it gave 10% less flak I'd buy it.

I use camo only for aesthetics.  Some of these iconic planes are atrocious without some sort of paint job.

All brown Spitfires.

USAAC aircraft painted in navy blue (WTH, WG).

Some stock paint jobs are actually pretty decent, like on the Corsairs, Zeroes.

You can use concealing livery for 10% less damage.  The cammo does nothing.

I find other equipment more useful but I actually have it on the bday plane they gave us in November.  It has such low HP I thought I would try Livery as well as the skill that enhances it to what I figured to 37ish percent.
