The game has never crashed on me. I don't have fps issues. And chat works. My kids say they don't have any of those issues on their machines. Just throwing that out there.

Well, WG finally fixed the chat after being down for two weeks straight.

WoWP makes a great jousting game...especially with the 262 and people busy in furballs...
I am deaf, silent, and fly with unrealistic controls. Do not count on me to carry - my back's already broken from overweight.

on another note, is 4k players enough to pay for NA coding/servers/etc?

 

there is no chance at all the "active player base" is anywhere near 4K. is there anyone here who thinks you have about TEN TIMES the number of active players in garbage mode that existed previoulsy? no you do not, and if there were i ASSURE you the sever pops links would be active so WG could engage in some flagellation over what a success garbage mode is. once again the best case scenario for WG here is they are able to get a similar financial viability model out of planes as they switched to in tanks some years ago. relying on a constant churn of new players, and returning players lured in by giveaways and "premium" content.

not this week, but the week Dec 14-20 of last year      "4163 players last week on NA server"

Only 329 players above the lowest 1.9 ever saw and well below the avg for 1.9. WG needs a really quick fix to stop the bleeding before the bots quit.

 

All significant game development occurs at Persha; so, the WGNA move shouldn't effect patches/fixes, but the large number of pretty important sounding vacancies at Persha Studia, cited in another thread, does not inspire confidence that quick fixes, much less new features, will be coming soon™. Hopefully I'm wrong. I'm looking forward to the PvP mode promised in the developers blog, but I don't expect it in the near future, nor will it be as polished as it could be with a full development staff. Stopping the crashes, login problems, and fixing the non-working chat would be a good start.
