This was posted in the forum from The War Zone (part of The Drive web site) not too long ago.  Lots of very exceptional planes at one air show and the photographer was top notch:

    1. Try to secure the upper hand before attacking.
    2. Always continue with an attack you have begun
    3. Open fire only at close range, and then only when the opponent is squarely in your sights
    4. You should always try to keep your eye on your opponent, and never let yourself be deceived by ruses
    5. In any type of attack, it is essential to assail your opponent from behind
    6. If your opponent dives on you, do not try run away from his attack, but fly to meet it
    7. When over the enemy's lines, always remember your own line of retreat
    8. It is better to attack in groups of four or six. Avoid two aircraft attacking the same opponent

The XB-70 was the most rare bird in the photos as only two were made. One crashed at Edwards and the other is on display at the Air Force Museum, Wright-Patterson AFB.  Another in the rare category in these excellent photos, was the RB-57F found about middle page. It had huge wings such that it was hard to land - had to force it to stick on the runway. One friend who flew it claimed they cruised well above U-2 altitude. Hard to believe but NASA is flying 2-3 of them today for weather reconnaissance. I had an orientation flight in a B-57C. It had dual controls in the tandem cockpit and I got to do some mild acrobatics with it such as rolls.

F-4 Phantom  (flying brick, obviously :P )
F-105 Starfighter, B-58 Hustler  (this is not a starfighter as the Thud doesn't have a T-Tail design, this one i didn't know, but 4 engines is giveaway as a bomber)
F-111, B-58 Hustler, F-111  (aardvark, aka widowmaker)
F-111, U-2

I think he meant Lockheed F-104 Starfighter.

The one with the 4 engines under the wings is a B-58 Hustler.

Delta Wing, fast supersonic medium bomber

And one of my all-time favorite planes.  They had one down at the Rantoul AFB museum in Illinois (permanently closed) and now I think it resides in California.  I kick myself for never visiting the museum while it was open because I always wanted to see this plane close up.  That and the B-47 which they also had and which, to my knowledge, I have yet to see IRL.
