Next up, loot boxes!

Haven't they been doing that with Wheel of Fortune, Japanese Threat, and Thorhammer already? :bajan:

WoWP makes a great jousting game...especially with the 262 and people busy in furballs...

WG decided that if Star Citizen can sell pixels for hundreds or thousands of dollars so can they!  Except...well, maybe not when they're trying to sell at the same time as SC.

Another email I didn't receive... Although... I wont be spending any $ on the game anyway... will try and enter the draws though.

Yup, I didn't get it either, and its not in my spam folder.  Sigh, what is it with WG emails.  No 2.0 promo code emails, no emails about weekend events etc.

Is the hot deal pack worth it?

Depends on how you view it I guess. Convert air-planes to gold value and view it, then oh yes. For collectors, heck yeah and then some. If you need to look in to playability for each one and then take value out of that, then I honestly do not know but I would guess it still is. Then at last it's the money thing, are there anything else you rather need that cash for and such.

The bundles are either over the top or strange and non-attractive missteps. No overall discounts.

Makes it easy when the box they try to fit you in doenst even spark an interest. This is actually a good thing.

edit: speaking of missteps, this whole re-launch event is just weird. Broken missions, unatainable bombers, no invite codes, hidden publicity, poor discounts etc. I was thinking it was cultural but I think its just poor execution.

Exactamundo!  You would have thought they’d have a strategy all planned out and tested and contingencies in place with rapid responses and timely fixes based on all the previous missteps from the WG historical records.  They give 110% in the first couple days, or at least that appearance, and then....I guess there’s no fixing incompetence.

Kinda....exactly like the first time they released the game? lol.  I was around for that one and this "re-release" actually does seem slightly better.   How scary is that?
