So far I have not seen a 2 tier split, I believe that got removed back in Beta in favor of one tier split battles. And even then, with the Bots around I have seen a few same-tier battles :great:

On the game being one-dimensional, I think that it's mostly due to the severe lack of cooperation among teammates (and the absence of it with bots), but there's quite a bit of strategy outside of combat if you want to dive into it. Maybe in a more competitive scene it'll come out into the light :sceptic:

+/-2 tier was there for some time in live...I think up until the breaking point that a big change in MM happened and everything started going down the steep, slippery slope...

WoWP makes a great jousting game...especially with the 262 and people busy in furballs...
I am deaf, silent, and fly with unrealistic controls. Do not count on me to carry - my back's already broken from overweight.

I mean like "what do we capture first? Who defends from bombers? Who baits the enemy out and who pounces on them? Where do we send the GAA?", stuff like that. As a GAA player I often see targets of opportunity and have to hit them on my own, all while the heavies on my team are attacking Mining Facilities, GAAs are stuck trying to go over a mountain and fighters are chasing an afk player back in spawn.

Imagine if people actually attempted to plan out an attack on a central Mining Facility while the GAAs with Bomber support take out other areas, causing the enemy team to either weaken their grip on their mining facility or losing the rest of the map, and the enemy team respond by completely pulling their forces from the Mining Facility, forcing the other team to deal with the heavilly armored ground targets while their GAAs and bombers are elsewhere. Atm the most I can do is guess whether or not I can steal a base from the enemy before they can respond; either that or take pot shots at aircraft flying by with my cannons and tailgunner

This is my IL-2 (t). There are many like it, but this one is mine. :child:

LMG, I think the problem with coordinating the attacks is lack of real-time commo. If we had the ability to type fast enough during the countdown it might work. Personally verbal communication works I just don't want someone screaming in my ear.

idk, I think the main problem is not having a proper leader. The communication is there through the fast commands, which I think cover up most of the basic stuff you need to coordinate with the team, but no one truly knows who to trust when making decisions. I've had games where someone pings a garrison in the middle of the map and the team follows them just to die to a handfull of enemy players, while I'm left to capture the Command Center next to our spawn on my own while the enemy garrison is constantly nuking the place (btw, watch out for enemy missile strikes, the explosion can hit your aircraft :amazed:)

Do you stream at all?  I think you would do well live streaming this game, and the game and everyone else would benefit as well.

Well maybe just have WOWP running in the background of your other vids... Do you do any live channels?

Are they riding you pretty hard where you work?  Remember to always take time for yourself.

Hmm. sounds like an innuendo. :teethhappy:

No, I don't do "live channels." I'm sure I could do well if I tried. I do take time for me. A little gaming, some clubbing, and hanging with some close friends does this gal good.

I don't like the fact the AI isnprogrammed to RAM, it's bad enough actual players do it.

They are probably programmed to stay in the head-on as long as you do.  It does take 2 to ram.  Do you want them to break early so that you can stay on target for the easy kill?

So far I've only seen Heavy Fighters do it, regular fighters and multirole fighters avoid you during a head-on fight. My guess is because Heavy Fighters are more durable and in general have higher firepower than your average small aircraft. I've never fought a bot GAA head-on, so I can't tell if they're even programmed to shoot hostile aircraft outside of those that cross their line while they're already shooting at a ground target, nor if they even care for getting out of the way of other aircraft :sceptic:. They're the bottiest of the bots
