I think a suggestion to command center bombers and military bases, is for the target base to turn neutral rather than flip completely.  Maybe it then cycles through all the enemy caps, then can start turning neutral caps.  This makes the cap flipping less of a snowball and addresses the lack of counters for certain things.  Example, military base missiles flying into a friendly cap, has no counter, unless the enemy is there to allow you to replace cap points otherwise it just flips when enough missiles fly into it.

Theoretically, the counter is:  go sneaky-style steal another enemy zone, if they are all grouped up camping the command center to hold on to it.  If we had human players, you could assemble a group to go in together instead of bots (or players learning bad habits from bots) just trickling into the command center zone one at a time to feed the enemy score points.

Is there even a point to the bombers other than to draw a swarm of bot heavies and stalling-out fighters, as the supremacy score doesn't seem to change no matter how many bombers/flights get downed?

Right now, for getting a plane or two shot up when attacking each flight, the reward seems rather ambiguous.

Though on some maps only one team gets access to these areas as their only zone, making sneaky approaches near-impossible since they tend to be right next to their spawn. The only way to properly sneak-capture these areas is if the enemy team never dies (which means your team is doing very poorly) or if they just don't give a damn about getting a free kill on a lone GAA.

One flight of bombers left unattended can and will solo-cap any zone. On top of that, by the time you down one flight, there's more likely than not another one on the way, so you either keep constantly downing the bombers, far from the heat of battle and the Command Center calling them in, or you go kill the Command Center while leaving the bombers open to nuke a capture point. Like Mercsn said, the only proper way to capture these points is a stealth approach by a GAA or a player-controlled bomber, which on some maps is quite hard or straight up unviable.

On topic: I like the idea of them turning the zones to neutral. It still takes away the points from the defending team without just straight up winning the game to the attacking team :great:
This is my IL-2 (t). There are many like it, but this one is mine. :child:

Gotta do something to stop the crazy insta-flips.

When you win the air fight vs a bunch of fighters over your own cap it shouldn't flip to red.

C'est magnifique, mais ce n'est pas le SerB.

Agree with this. Something to make it more clear on wthIs going on would be nice as well. Game still has a what do I do feel at times.
