Thanks for the vids, man.  Looks like fun, some of those aircraft.

OK, to your request for comment:  I will be happy to give it below, but I am going to ask for two things first:

1.)  For a Win7 guy like myself, with a GeForce 1070 card (so I can record the match using GeForce's recording tool), what reasonably-priced editing software would be appropriate?  I would like to publish some gameplay myself.  (Edit, I see you use PowerDirector 16.)

2.)  I can see you're a light fighter sort of guy (with some MRF stuff thrown in) - have you ever considered showing folks some high-tier heavy fighter play?  Like Me-262 in tiers VIII, IX, and X?

I agree with you wholeheartedly on a PvE mode for WoWP.  If I just want to fly my plane, and not have to wait minutes for a match-up, I should be able to do it.  The bots should be Ace-level, including the ADA.  The flak should be murderous.  It should be very hard to win.  In addition, there should be a bomber escort mode available.

I'm not opposed to heavy fighters though I have to admit I do not like them all that much. I do have videos on the Me 262 and the XF 90. The Games Meta has changed which is requiring a lot of silver per aircraft and I'm rather always perpetually broke. Generally, I like my fighters to have a sub 11 second 360 turn and I am sure that it shows. Mostly however and overall I demand that my fighters have good guns. I absolutely HATE fighting the guns to get good results. However, the reason that you don't see many GA videos from me has to do with saturation> I have so many vids out on IL 20, IL 40, IL 40P, and the German GA line it is not funny.

I have an entire video on how to make videos if you go back far enough. I tried a number of video editing packages. 1st be aware that a lot of them want a monthly payout for using them. So in effect, you are renting the software and the company gets revenue forever. Every corporation's favorite goal. With Power Director you get everything you need for gaming videos and unless you want to subscribe you can be producing day one. You have a good enough Video card to be using a video editor.

Be warned that you need a large hard drive! Also be aware you need to be persistent in cleaning out said hard drive of the extra files that video editing hits you with.nVidia's capture package is great for caping the screen and you can just import the capture for editing.

Another thing to be aware of is you need a good mic, a good noise canceling mic. Another thing I learned the hard way is how many sounds we tune out because we don't listen to recordings of ourselves. So the fan you have going in your room is going to make a nasty hum you will be dealing with. If your wife likes the TV up loud it will show up on your video. If you have your lips too close to the mic you will sound like you are eating when you record. You learn to keep your mouth slightly parted when speaking or you get lip-smacking sounds... and it sounds horrible. I know because I have done all these things.

Speaking of which, be prepared to voice over, just delete the old soundtrack and voice over it. When doing long videos, over 15 minutes, take short breaks between 15-minute segments. Your voice gets tired after that and it will show. Myself, I'm 61 years old so my voice tends to get froggy pretty quickly. Well, that is my issue but I've observed that we all have something that can get really irritating to your listeners pretty fast.

I like your ideas on PvE.

I hope that I have answered your questions fully. If not please let me know.

Regards

Tirronan

That would depend on how long you intend to keep the plane. At 13.5 seconds turn time, I would not invest in the lightweight airframe or the lightweight power plant.  Unless you spec'd the plane You would not see a sub 13 second turn time. So that leaves speed or protection. Given that we all see GA's getting shot down I don't go the protection often on anything but GA. That leaves speed. personally, I'd go with the improved powerplant, polished skin and the best sight I can provide. The bomb and rocket load are impressive so anything you can do in decrease loading time would be helpful. The eight guns is a great upgrade and I'd look at the plane once I upgraded everything and evaluate again.

Agreed.  The P47 with speed mods can run away from almost anything at-tier, other than a speed-built heavy.  Make it a powerful BnZ ground hitter, and a pair of them can make life really hard on the red team.

Speaking of heavies, I was mostly asking why you didn't do heavies, and did fighters.  It wasn't a complaint or a request, just a question.  I was merely curious, and I apologize if it came across as a criticism.   When I was looking for how to be more effective playing my heavy fighters, I looked for videos, and found that you had gone up the German line at least to the Me-109Z.  I find that one to be the least interesting of the group of German heavies. You are right about the XF-90.  It is a dog.  The Me-262 HGIII is a better aircraft, for sure.

BnZ playstyle isn't for everyone.  But for those of us who love the heavies, it's the only way.  For those folks looking to go up the German line, there are very few videos showing the capabilities they offer.  I am hoping, once I get some editing software, I can help fill in those gaps.  Again, my apologies.

okay it's alright I'm trying  boom and zoom right now on my mustang A but like my corsair I'm  focusing on picking off targets that can't out turn me like multi roles or heavy fighters I try to stay away from other fighters unless their focus on a bot or another player then I get on their tail and shoot them down. i don't have the p47b yet I have it researched. all I need to do is grind the credits  to get it.

1st and foremost if I am not covering something you want to see, then I have to know that. I get remarkably little feedback on what you all want to see. One of my favorite B&Z was the F7F Tigercat. Right now I'm a bit stymied because I hate flying the Me 262 and that stinking gun. Mostly I hate that gun. I may have to buy my way out of it and I hate that more. So I've been stuck on that for a while. I rather liked the Me 109Z. You can not be a content provider and not have a thick skin. Unless and until I start getting insults directed at me I don't take offense. So not only was I am not offended I took it as a "wake up Jeff," you have to do better coverage of the options.

If I am not covering what you want to see I am pleading with you, TELL ME!

Mostly I've moved on from a lot of the lower tier planes, something I'm just starting to correct. Hence the KI 84 purchase. I've got 5 T9 planes that I have to bring up, and 4 more T8 and this is hard on the old silver pocketbook.
