I am scratching my head here. In matches my FPS is dipping to unplayable levels ~20 fps. Even when no action is near by.

I have tried a lot in order to troubleshoot this on my end, defragging, updating my vid drivers, compatibly etc. I even lowered the resolution to 1600x1080 which is below my native resolution, and lowered all the setting to the lowest. The FPS still dips to ~20 at times. my pc should be able to run this game. I can play fallout and witcher 3 on it just fine with those set at medium-high.

My specs:

Intel Quad Core i7 920 @2.67GHz

10 GB Ram

AMD Radeon R9 200 Series (2GB dedicated RAM) drivers; 17.7.2

At this point I am inclined to think it is poor optimization by WG but I don't really know. Any suggestion on what I can do on my end would be appreciated. Or if anyone else is experiencing this.

I'm in the same boat.

I have an 4690k, R9 380, and 8GB of RAM with a 480GB SSD and my fps is very often in the 30-40s at 1080p.

Windows 10 Fall Creators update, Radeon Crimson 17.7.2 drivers.

Games like World of Warships and World of Tanks run in the 60s-70s no problem.

I actually just reset my PC because World of Warships was crashing but now it doesn't. Something is clearly up.

Me too, played 1.9 no problem, however with 2.0 much lag, with fps <20 not uncommon.

Trying to like the game, little enthusiasm for a hiho however.
