My bday coming up.  I'm slowly playing this game more than WoT and I'm always credit poor.  So please tell me your most valued Premium.  Specifically what about it you like and dislike.  Tons of threads on this but they are all old and I want 2.0ish answers please.

I just learned Premiums don't train crews like in WoT so...I guess nation or type is not such a choosing factor.

I'm looking for a plane that I can play long hours in to finance equipment and ammo for my hangar.

I think I want a fighter.  One that is noob friendly yet will allow me to enjoy the game as I progress.

And if I missed a valuable thread I would appreciate a link.

Thank you for your time!

Premium planes DO train pilot skills though in WoWP, so you may want to take that into consideration.

Can you train any crew member of that nation and type like in WoT?

For the best bang for the buck, go to Corsair or MMOBomb - they are both giving away codes for the same bundle, the Light/Medium/Heavy pack, 3 t5 planes for free. That's the best cost savings right now

Yes, but you first have to have them 100% proficiency in their assigned plane.

J8M (Jap licensed Me-163 Komet) is my favorite, but there are many others I like. XP-75, La-11, Meteor F.1. Many others are enjoyable. DO NOT buy Fw-190 A-8/R2. Another bad aircraft is P-40 M105.

Meteor is a good choice. Flies fast, hard hitting. Kills planes fast if you have the aim. Same  advice given before 2.0. Still valid now.

KI-88 Is another good one. But lacks survivability. Hits hard if u have good aim. If you want something easier, Mustang I. Tonnes of mgs make this thing a shredder.

Something in T8 will go a long way...perhaps the more pratical ones like Seafang and La-11. Earnig over 100k silver a match with little effort is not unheard of.

The Meteor and British Mustang are okay choices too, given their high tier and reliable weaponry that will score you lots of kills. The A6M3 (exp) I think is available for in-game purchase, and I find it the best choice for T5 prem in 2.0 for its two T8-equivalent 30mms that tear stuff to pieces.

On the cheapest price range the Ar 197 is second to none in dogfighting. Definitely a must if you can scrape together some gold.

I would suggest Seafang, good firepower, good speed, OP maneuverability, and good credit-earning capability

Seafang hasn't worked for me.  Since it's operational ceiling is so low and the bot count is so high it's rarely able to use it's maneuverability.  Add in the guns over heat so quick that it has a hard time taking out another plane.  I also don't get why it's predecessors clock in at 1k maneuverability but the seafang clocks in at 750...

Seafang was one of the OP T8 fighters pre 2.0 because it was so good at high altitude.  Cannons were useful close in with short bursts.

Keep in mind that multirole fighters got a nutshot to their altitude performance...

109 TL is actually pretty good now. It's quite fast for the tier and has both bombs and rockets for groundpounding while you wait for the bot planes to respawn. I hated it before 2.0, but now I like it better than most of the other tier 8 prems because of its firepower and versatility.

I do like my TL.  It's not an easy button as I have paid dearly for over extending.  T7 better equivalent for me is the Meteor with long firing guns and less stingy flying performance.  It feels just right.

Sadly it is a t7 and for missions I need a T8.  The TL seems to do it for me, but for a refresher I use the XP-58.  It will make you pay a lot more for dumb mistakes, gets my brain doing aim calculations due to its slow firing, low velocity, 4x37mm canons.

Now the real terror potential is the J8M Komet looking rocket fighter - bnz to the max with its 60s boost.  Keeping speed up is the key.  The real hard part is hitting anything with those XP-58 2x cloned canons.  At most it is a gnat, but on a hit it's a rhino.

Bottom line for me is the T8 canon feel like T5 canon....

I'ma new player but I have many of the tier 5 premiums and some below tier 5.  For those on a limited budget, I recommend the tier 4 XF4F-3.  This thing seems to have a higher credit multiplier than all the tier 5s I have.  In an equivalent game, I generally make at least 10k more credits in it than in my tier 5 premiums.  When I play poorly, it makes maybe 40k; a really good game will yield about 120k, and my average seems to be about 70k.  It also has the same guns as the tier 5 XF4U-1, which makes it quick to shoot down other planes at tier 4.

You should probably stay away from the tier 5 Me 209 V4 unless you're an expert player.  I'm terrible in it and the weak guns make for almost no credits earned for me.

Does Seafang still hold up?  I look at word about the plane and it sounds great, but there's a lot of Pre-2.0 impressions.

Seafang is still a good earner, but it struggles now that it's altitude nerfed.
DICTA BOELCKE for WoWP
    1. Try to secure the upper hand before attacking.
    2. Always continue with an attack you have begun
    3. Open fire only at close range, and then only when the opponent is squarely in your sights
    4. You should always try to keep your eye on your opponent, and never let yourself be deceived by ruses
    5. In any type of attack, it is essential to assail your opponent from behind
    6. If your opponent dives on you, do not try run away from his attack, but fly to meet it
    7. When over the enemy's lines, always remember your own line of retreat
    8. It is better to attack in groups of four or six. Avoid two aircraft attacking the same opponent

That is exactly what I was looking for, thanks.  I was looking for a solid Tier VIII Premium but none of them really jump out at me.
