There is definitely problems with the new mode.  However, the interest in the game has skyrocketed.  I have a large increase in views and subs for our YouTube channel.  Several  games in WOT as well as WOWS with people talking about it in chat.  As much as the mode irritates me with some of the changes, it's causing a stir.  Is this mode going to revitalize the game with new players?  Can WG not drop the ball?

I hope not. I'm one of the players who came back after quitting in 1.2.

I'm gonna write up an opinion piece to post here for whoever cares enough to read and discuss it. I like 2.0 and yes, it has several problems that need addressing, but this is a major improvement over my rather limited experience back in 1.2 and earlier versions.

I got that as well. Old players coming back as well as fair amount trying the game for the first time. A subscriber posted a few days ago that half of his WOWS clan downloaded it. Apparently, they really like it.  I would really like to see the numbers on new players.

I know I didn't play much the last 6-8 months, but I didn't recognize any of the names in the tier 4-7 battles I played last night. A lot of the battles were five or six players per side. There were lots of WoT clan tags that I recognized but only a couple WoWP clans. Out with the old, in with the new seems to be Persha's strategy.

One of the reps said the next patch should have new modes in it, Conquest was only put out first because it incorporated everything new in 2.0. I am looking forward to seeing what they do, but since Alpha, I remain skeptical until proven otherwise, but all in all, I think they are taking the game into a good direction.

Yeah,  They are trying to throw old bloods out, and Refill it with new one.

Sad that My skills are completely outdated for new 2.0

but also glad that newcomers are attracted well.

They need to polish this before adding more.  Too many game modes didn't work in WOT.  I hope they don't make the same mistake.
