Star Trek Discovery or The Orville.

Which one are you watching?

I'm pondering if I should just curmudgeon all over this.

Okay, I'll cop to it.  Neither.  I'm watching reruns of DS9, Bab5 and SciFi's Galactica.  :B

I'm not going to pay more $ just to be able to watch one more show, so Orville it is. It's pretty good, I can see the potential.

But we are... lol

Now seriouslly, even an old man needs to stay updated and loose himself sometimes. Im not this old, but is very good to do it. :great:

In fact about video games, Im playing WoT and the old Shogun Total War. About TV shows Im watching again "The IT Crowd", very nerd with english mood.

But my day is dominated by my kid, when he is awake I play with his toys, teaching him about old things keeping him away from cellphones and TV.

Orville, fun show. Even with the humor it feels far more Trek. It can even pull off serious. Really enjoy it.

Orvile.

It's more Star Trek than Discovery, and has had a number of ST alum as well as from other notable SF shows showing up both in front of the camera and behind it.

DICTA BOELCKE for WoWP
    1. Try to secure the upper hand before attacking.
    2. Always continue with an attack you have begun
    3. Open fire only at close range, and then only when the opponent is squarely in your sights
    4. You should always try to keep your eye on your opponent, and never let yourself be deceived by ruses
    5. In any type of attack, it is essential to assail your opponent from behind
    6. If your opponent dives on you, do not try run away from his attack, but fly to meet it
    7. When over the enemy's lines, always remember your own line of retreat
    8. It is better to attack in groups of four or six. Avoid two aircraft attacking the same opponent
