I have noticed on several occasions both my joystick and mouse will not function when starting a battle.  I either have to run task mangler to shut down WOWP and restart or reboot my system entirely.

When this happens, my mouse does not work as a fall back item.  It is non-functional as well.  Some keyboard keys will work.

This has happened about 3 or 4 times so far.

Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, Intel i3 2120 processor, EVGA 750Ti- 8GB RAM, all non essential processes shut down.

Moderated by Mezurashi.

I've encountered this, just hit ESC and then return to battle and it should be fixed.

I found that hitting F1 after battle start gives my mouse control back.  Not sure if related to hitting tab or F1 while the timer counts down, but was fairly consistent, last I played this past Saturday.

Every game I start, I begin with the Joystick, every game it becomes unresponsive and I have to switch to mouse.

I've tried button mashing to see if I can get it to re-engage, but no success. I have to restart the game to get the joystick working again in game.

I've left the game running when I've had this issue and gone into my Joysticks diagnostics and it is fine, registers all control moments.

Don't know what to do from here...

I change control scheme to and fro then leave config.

I play M/KB and I get stuck controls like that occasionally, changing fixes it...

WoWP makes a great jousting game...especially with the 262 and people busy in furballs...
I am deaf, silent, and fly with unrealistic controls. Do not count on me to carry - my back's already broken from overweight.

Just hitting ESC is what's clearing it up, you don't have to go as far as changing anything.

Same thing I do.  Works every time.

Yes, this works for me, but surely this at-start bug (really annoying- will I get control back in time to clear the mountainside?) should have been fixed by now.
