I started playing WoWP in beta, and watched the versions come and go. And with each new version came a steady loss of the exceptional players. The developers were always nerfing the planes that were dominating, changing the game mechanics so that the advantage held by experienced players was diminished. Without exception the new releases took away more than they gave. In short the players didn't leave the game, the game left us.

You can't mourn the demise of WoWP, in truth it died long ago - loyal fans of the game were just too blind to accept it was coming.

...then players that remain get experienced, mechanics get nerfed even more...

Soon planes will walk the earth and take cover behind ground targets' wreck...

WoWP makes a great jousting game...especially with the 262 and people busy in furballs...
I am deaf, silent, and fly with unrealistic controls. Do not count on me to carry - my back's already broken from overweight.
