I think what they mean by "top configuration" is everything equipped, even optional guns and ordnance. That really harms quite a few planes, including almost all the multiroles and heavies that people run without bombs and/or rockets

And my P-47B Thunderbolt, IL-2, IL-8, Hs 129 B, the Me 1099 B-2 for those that like the 50, and even my F4U-1 Corsair and Hurricane II if they consider the rockets better than the bombs. Unlike WoT and even WoWS, in WoWP you don't always want or need the last item available on a slot

Well, if they give me the choice between being forced to equip bombs and a single additional equipment slot... I'll ditch the bombs.
