Wait, when did I say the FAB-50s had poor accuracy? I was just saying they fall short damage-wise in comparison to the IL-2's ordnance

Oops. You mis-spelled inadequate, so it looked like inaccurate.

Remember, remember the 14th of... June, the day of patch 2.05.  Some say it's great end-game content, some say it's horrible, but history will always recall which it actually was.

My send off to the ending of the Skies of Albion event....

I have a question for you: Do you own a Tachikawa Ki-94-I(the only Japanese Heavy Fighter in the game) or the Curtiss XF15C? They are a mystery to me, and I'd love to see them played if you ever acquire them and have the time.

A shame, as I've never seen them played, and I would like to. Well, you and I will just have to hope one or both of them go on sale again sometime soon.

Was it the plane, the player or the circumstances?

The CA-1 Wirraway premium tier III Commonwealth Ground Attack Aircraft was a favorite of mine in the pre-2.0 days, a hardy little trainer and a decent credit maker.

However, in this new age, I am finding only disappointment, especially from this latest exhibition....

AA has the same aimbot power as manual rear gun...if you fly straight for more than like 5 sec the aimbot will significantly amplify the damage done to you than while you maneuver. This also apply to air defense planes.

GAA without the powerful guns to clear out AA fast is disadvantaged this way...and Wirraway only has a pair of .303...

WoWP makes a great jousting game...especially with the 262 and people busy in furballs...
I am deaf, silent, and fly with unrealistic controls. Do not count on me to carry - my back's already broken from overweight.

Knowing this now does explain a few things.

Looking at the stats, you basically rely on your bombs with that GAA. That said, they're quite the bombs for that tier. You have the same load as the Bsh-2, except you reload 20 seconds faster and fight softer buildings on a regular basis. I believe one bomb should deal with any target you find; shoot it a bit if you're doubtful. The guns look really bad, however; half the dps of a Bsh-2 and 20% of the Tsh-3's (but much better ordnance). My conclusion is: bomb the biggest targets you can find, and either poke the soft targets to death while the bombs recharge or attempt to shoot down light Air Defense Aircraft chasing other people. I would still advice to avoid attracting unwanted enemy attention unless you can reliably bombkill

This is my IL-2 (t). There are many like it, but this one is mine. :child:

~eye opening observations and good advice to consider~

Short of posting up a long, negative rant about my experience, I will just park the Wirraway for an indefinite period of time. I think for British tier III, bomb equipped aircraft, the Blenheim IV has won me over, despite the rocky times along the way.

I recently came back to check out 2.Oh and one of my earliest premiums the i15Bis I fly almost every session mainly because it's a biplane with jets on it ridiculousness - did it get buffed??  It always felt like an underperformer now it's a sealclubbing monster!  Not sure if it got a turning buff or a dps buff or both, but the thing is mean now!

I didn't think the XF15C had been released yet - I've never seen it in-store.  The last time the KI-91-i was for sale I think it was in the big plane pack around XMas... it's either OP or GP.

2.0 has had a strange effect on some aircraft that were....struggling before. For example, the tier V Soviet P-40 M-105, with a seriously weak engine, it wasn't a best best climber, among other things. Now, it's like a totally new machine.

Planes with ShKAS in low tier are usually killers...use a pilot with both ranks of Marksman and watch those bullets melt away fighters and put a dent in GAA.

I think he's setup with eagle eye and aerobatics with lw airframe, engine tuning and improved gun sight - there's not a lot of issues keeping the reticle on any target really.  Even GAA's are easy to stay behind with airbrakes.  unless the team is truly bad, I rarely have a problem getting 10+ kills in it.  It feels like cheating it's so comfortable to fly.  Maybe when I get some free gold I'll respect to guns and see what that's like but the super tight turning makes it hilariously easy to handle.  So different from what I remember.

I actually do enjoy the Blenheim IV. Maybe I'll have to wait for the british Bomber line :sceptic:

At first, I was like "meh" when it came to bomber gameplay in Planes, now I am more like "hmmmm."

Wish I knew what was coming next and when

Since I started putting a face and voice to my videos, I have pretty much covered the British aircraft I have in WOWP.

Well, there is one last plane that I will have a look at and to warn you up front (I repeat this quite a few times in the following video), I am terrible in it.

Sit back, relax and have a few laughs and head scratching moments on me....

The Do 17Z is fun and easy to get if you want to try it.

The original plan for today was to open up some Skies of Albion crates and showoff a German Ground Attack Aircraft. However, something came along and changed part of that....

A special shout-out to Toggle and trikke for their part in the sortie.
