This August it seems like a few cool planes are for sale again.

1. I-180-3 Is this the same as the regular I-180?

2. F2A-1 Buffalo Is it worth it?

3. A6M3 (exp) Is it a plane to get?

F2A-1 is the low tier US planes' weapon in F2A body and downtiered to 3...not worth it, the firepower to toughness tradeoff is just unacceptable.

The A6M3(exp) is like having half a J7W1 at tier 5, if you like turnfights go for it, it creams everything it can catch at that tier.

I dunno about the I-180-3...I think some other folks might have it 'cos it was offered as reward for a pretty tough set of mission IIRC...

The i-180 is like a t5 i16L, but as a premium. It's a fun plane.

yes i see where the i-180 is great. But is the i-180-3 the same thing? Or is it a newer more nurfed version of the i-180?

There is only I-180-3 and no such thing as the plain I-180.

I-180 is better than any of the other listed planes..

Skills:

- Engines (both), and the one to increase turns in all axes.

Equips:

- Both for turns and the one for fire;

Consumables

- Fire

- Increase manuever

- Restore damaged modules.

You will overturn everyone including tiers 4 due higher speed.

You can catch up most of tier 6's.

Guns take very long to overheat

Long boost, about 13 secs.

But remember, you will be a turnfighter, if you don't know how to do it. Just leave all of them alone and save your money to buy another plane.

Regards,

Mack

Unless you are pretty good at evading fire in a turn fight, avoid the Japanese planes, and what Mack said.

Experience only counts when you're doing it right in the first place.

As a collector I would by them all. Otherwise as Mack said, go and save your money for a higher tier premium.

I bought the A6M3(exp) by mistake. The I-180 is fun but you need to be a really good player. I can't say anything about the F2A-1 except the general rule that premium planes are never as good as the regular counterpart.

Great review! I like turn fighters, and this is a fun one for sure! All the planes have strengths and weaknesses.

So much for earning the F2A-1 in Beta, oh well!

It's almost four years now, so I think it's about time it gets offered again...

...the I-15DM-2's time is approaching I guess...
