How does everyone choose their plane to take into battles? Do you use the x2 first battle and cycle through your favorite planes, just take out your favorite plane, or do you decide on missions and birthdays?

I made a big printout of all the planes I own and tacked to the wall. For picking the first plane used requires a dart....

I commonly pick based on the feeling I'm in at that moment. In the morning when I'm trying to wake up I choose something fast, and maneuverable. Like the P-47 (Either one) Or If I just want to jump in and have some fun, I have one of my favorite planes, the I-16(l)

First plane is a conundrum. last plane is usually my favorite plane.

Totally focused on daily missions here.

I tried to have one sample of each class in every nation. (I kept the ones that I preferred (Me 410, Ki-84-I, I-220, P-47B, Attacker, IL-10...)

Then I try to clear my dailies in the least amount of battles.

During x3 weekends, I try to make sure I grind all my plane (I'm going down moreless 10 tech lines)

On weekdays (when I have the least amount of time to play), I first concentrate on mission specific aircraft, then any anniversaries I may have.

Depending upon how I feel, I'll either start in Tier 8&9 (usually), or if I'm feeling particulary crappy, I'll do Tier 1-4 first.

Strangely enough, I almost always save Tier 5-7 for last, since that's where most of my planes are.

On weekends, when I have more time, and there are bigger XP multipliers, I usually start at Tier 2 and just run through the carousel and try to fly everything, and let the missions come as they will. Then I try to fly the BV 212.03 as much as possible, since my primary in-game goal at this point, is the long grind to get to the BV 215.02

Usually start at the weakest planes and work towards the planes that are easier to win in, trying to get the 2X first win bonus in each. Better to be frustrated at the beginning than at the end. I have so many planes though that I rarely manage to get through them all in one session.

I-5 first thing to benchmark performance and hopefully a Gabreski for +5 tokens...then collect free EXP, then collect Thunder, then whatever to finish dailies...

In the morning, I tend to play lower tiers. I focus on daily missions and getting Ace/destroyer/thunder. Then late at night, I focus on earning xp and finishing dailies. I have all the planes I need to earn xp on favorited and I work on them. Sometimes I go left to right, sometimes right to left, sometimes I go from high tier to lower tiers and vice versa. Sometimes I just pick randomly.

Due to the no limit texas hold-em results dealt by the matchmaker, I pretend I'm playing poker. I choose a plane that can adjust to situations which defy realism. Since >80% of the battles I'm in are over in less than 5 minutes, and >40% are over in less than 3 minutes, I choose a plane with lots of armor and big guns. Nothing much else matters. Most of the time one or more humans on my team choose a strategy that I have seen fail most of the time. Most of the time that inspires me to sacrifice myself by going in alone and dragging multiple humans and bots to the deck, which quite often compensates for the losing strategy chosen by some of those on my team. All of the German attackers are good for this, except the 1102.

When it comes to the bonuses and missions, I no longer look at them because the matchmaker/bots are aware of what my bonuses are and can be relied upon to oppose my efforts. Even the 'replace mission' button is aware of my situation. The system often gives me 5-7 missions in a row that I simply cannot complete because I don't have the correct planes. I know we are supposed to pretend that the game developers are brilliant and awesome so I will just take the blame for it all. I am the moron.

I am seeking help writing the lyrics for a song about the quality of programming behind WoWP. The copyright will go to Creative Commons, so there will be no royalties, only name recognition. The song will be professionally recorded at my expense, and I will write and perform all of the music. All ideas are welcome except those that do not mock the programming team. Thanks.

Dailies,  then anniversary planes, then planes to grind ( only 3 of them: Su new line tier 9 for a tier 10, BV tier 9 for a tier 10, and soon to come jap light fighter at tier 10).

My favourities for a daily missions:

Low tier: FW 57, I-16(L), P-36, Wirraway

Mid tier: P-38(j), I-220, IL-10, Corsair

High tier: F2H, F94D, IL-40, Me tier 9,

Maybe I should disconnect for a few games in my tier 10.

I normally do just one to disconnect first so I can stay connected.

The first plane that I choose is a very low tier plane.  First battles for me tend to have a 50% chance to lock the WoWP game and I need to kill the game and restart it so I never fly a high tier plane the first match.  After that I usually play a couple planes that need the daily doubles and then I may try to complete a daily mission.  Usually get bored after a hand full of games and then log off to do something else or I just fall asleep with the game displaying my hanger.

I usually choose my planes based on daily missions and which planes I'm grinding, and if they have an anniversary if I'm in the mood to fly a certain plane that meets all those. I usually start out in higher tiers, then work down for my daily missions, then I go back to whatever planes I'm grinding, especially if they have anniversaries. Then I play whatever I feel like usually in the higher tiers.
