Hi, so yesterday I let my 6 year old son fly a few battles for me on my account because I'm the best dad ever. He got shot down every time but in one game he happened upon, of all things, a Ki-8 trailing a raging fire and put it out of its misery with a few shots. First, last, and only kill for the little rascal!

So in honor of this moment I really, really, really want that Ki-8 in my hanger. Yes, yes, yes, I know it was a gift plane from 2015, but I didn't even know this game existed until last year and it's not like I want some Tier XXIX atomic lazer gun MiG-29 Fulcrum or something, it's a Tier II beater with less punch than my grandma.

I am literally sitting here waving wads of real US Dollars around, why can't I buy this plane? What sort of business model is it that WG won't sell stuff that is of extremely limited value to nearly everyone out there (seriously, when is the last time any of you saw a Ki-8 in a battle?). What is the statue of limitations on “gift” status? When will a gift plane become something I can give, once again, REAL AMERICAN MONEY for? Never? Why?

Failing that, why is there not some mechanic whereby some kind and generous DRACS soul can sell/give me their Ki-8, which is surely rusting away in the corner of their cavernous hanger? Anybody? I will trade you everything in my hanger for your Ki-8.

Ghostprime, if you read this, I will give you my First Born Son (lazy teenager) for a Ki-8. What do I have to do to make this happen?

I've got one Its a great little plane not to mention it's the only Japanese plane that has an actual TG but then I never fly it because I don't fly below T3.......

Warhog: Looks great!  Where do you live, I'll drive over there and pick it up, I'll bring beer.

Steel: He's very tall for his age!

Well...let's hope that down the road we get another Wheel of Fortune that include them...

WoWP makes a great jousting game...especially with the 262 and people busy in furballs...
I am deaf, silent, and fly with unrealistic controls. Do not count on me to carry - my back's already broken from overweight.

I already have a lazy teenager! :D

The Ki-8 was a gift aircraft, and unfortunately its a special plane. From time to time we do make some of these available, so keep a look out for either a contest, or a special sales event.

Oh well, it seems my only recourse is to build a time machine and travel back to 2015, get my Ki-8, and then return to the present day.  I will see if Amazon.com has a time machine on sale.

Yeah, they are limited planes for a reason. I've missed some good missions for planes even though I've been here for a couple of years. Life gets in the way. Some planes won't be available, some limited planes do come back via missions or the gift shop. Just keep an eye out. Yeah it sucks when you can't get planes that are not available to get now.

Try Alice's Restaurant.

You can get anything that you want at Alice's Restaurant.

Walk right in, it's around the back
Just a half a mile from the railroad track

If you are not able to get a Ki-8 soon, then some other early Japanese tailgunner aircraft that could potentially find their way into the game are:

Tier 2 est.:
-- Kawasaki Ki-3 -- biplane w/ tailgunner
-- Nakajima Ki-4 -- biplane w/ tailgunner
-- Aichi D1A1/D1A2 -- biplane w/ tailgunner

Tier 3 est:
-- Mitsubishi Ki-30 -- monoplane w/ tailgunner
-- Kawasaki Ki-32 -- monoplane w/ tailgunner
-- Tachikawa Ki-36 -- monoplane w/ tailgunner
-- Nakajima D3N1 -- monoplane w/ tailgunner

In a bundle a few months ago???? UGH!  I didn't know it existed until this week.   I guess my time machine only needs to go back to April now.  Does anyone have a DeLorean I can borrow?
