Starting from scratch after a couple of years of not playing and tier 1 and 2 is filled with experienced players trying to get tokens and generally ruining the fun for everyone else. Why not ban anyone with more than 500 battles from those 2 tiers. Let the beatings start at tier 3.

Good luck with that, WG encourages low tier stat padding by handing out tier 2 and 3 gift planes. :coin:

Is he still chained there?

WoWP makes a great jousting game...especially with the 262 and people busy in furballs...
I am deaf, silent, and fly with unrealistic controls. Do not count on me to carry - my back's already broken from overweight.

Why should I give up the right to fly my beautiful tier 2 gift planes. If you think about it, it actually helps the young players because they can watch and copy the more experienced players. If all you have to fly against is people at the same level, you're not going to get any better because there's no challenge. We're not going to continually play low tiers anyway because tokens are only for the first medal and because I've got more high tier things to fly anyway.

The biggest problem with this is that at some point people are going to have to take a beating from the veteran players. Sure, they might hang on to tier 3 if the vets aren't there, but then they're going to hit tier 3 and be like "whoa! I had this, what happened?" and they'll just quit at tier 3 instead of tier 1. I think the only real fix to this issue would be to have a ranked battles system as standard, but I don't think we have enough players to support that...

Cheers!
Glenn

This morning, I had to go play tier 1-4 for a daily mission.

I'm glad I killed a dedicated sealclubber reroll in the process.

You got punish them when you can.

First off, there are always going to be Bi-plane Buffs that simply like kicking around in older planes.. Why punish them at some point?

Second, It's difficult impossible to keep experienced players out of the low tiers... Number of battles too high?, They make another account...

Even "true" newbies could still have come from some other flight sim, plane arcade, joystick type game.... Or they are simply naturals at the game..

However... making pilot skills inactive in low tiers might help even the field, and keep seal-clubs from putting a 10 -point in an F2F..  Or, maybe no upgrades for T1.

I get your pain, it's been a grueling 5 months myself.. But, having been shot down so much, has really taught me to respect this game, and learn the mechanics.  And stats heal over time.

OP, you wont get much sympathy from the players on this subject. We started this game with no bots, all humans, and 3 person flights in t2. Yes, it sucks getting shot down. However as many other people have said, if you only play against people of the same level you aren't going to get any better. Once you get to t3, boom you are going to get hit hard, while not knowing the mechanics of the game because you were playing against clueless people to begin with. Once you die, you should watch how other humans fly to see how to get better. That's what I did. That and flight up with better people to teach you how to play this game and get better. 27 battles is not nearly enough to understand this game.

If we can learn this, so can you. we all started from scratch. Also, if you didn't take a break so long ago, you would be one of the veterans now.

I do my daily's everyday the tokens i make pay for my premium time every month so that requires me to fly low tier every day I do it most time's in T4 but I reserve the right to fly my Do 17 Z-7 or my Wirraway at T3.

That being said I think I own one tier 2 which is the Spad but I never fly it because its just to easy even with the rerolls, But for seal clubbing all I can say is...........

Why should one not be able to do the anniversary missions that involve Tier 1-4 planes? Mine are done usually in whatever tier is on the list. If there is a tier one, it gets used. It is realized that most players that are just beginning do not want to get shot up all the time by someone with however many games they have. But you have to realize that someone tried this before and was met with the same reaction. It is a game. You fly what you need to get the job done, whether it is daily missions for tokens or anniversary missions for experience and bling.

Sure I'll stay out of T1 and T2. And just get groupeddown in my HA 137 "Totally a Fighter" T3.

The (not so) amazing Chokai is back! And he's hit all his personal goals sans one! Seriously though, nice to be back, looks like he game is improving. I continue to try to recruit new people.

A 54% W/R, 3.53 K/D probably reroll player is complaining about experienced players in the low tiers. What is wrong with this picture?

I just reread the op' s first post and it did say he came back and started from scratch. This account only does have 27 battles and was recently started. So, yeah, that's definitely a re-roll admitted by the OP. I wonder what the original account name was. He might have had over 500 battles in his first account.

I agree with you 100%

There should be a separation between experienced players and new players in tier 1 and 2

New players should only be allowed to play in some sort of training arena until they have 1000 battles or unlock a tier 4 plane.

That will prevent the experienced players from going ballistic when a new player is hitting ground targets in a fighter or attacking GA first.

Then again THEY WOULD NOT LEARN HOW TO PLAY THE GAME UNTIL TIER 4
