I feel with you are a great injection of humor into the New Dracatude of Trolling... I feel if your clan has such a position as... maybe the Chief Officer of Sarcasm you would make a stupendous leader...

if the pilot's good, see, I mean, if he's really..sharp, he can barrel that baby in so low [he spreads his arms like wings and laughs],

you oughtta see it sometime, it's a sight. A big plane like a '52. VRROOM! There's jet exhaust, fryin' chickens in the barnyard.

You know, I found it a little weird, especially considering the title of the thread, that the artofmanliness article didn't even mention "got your six" and where it comes from.  Still, it was interesting reading.

the positions using numbers or the 'clock' style was used MAINLY by bomber crews. 12 high meant enemy above you at the 12 position..3 low means enemy at 3 o clock..below you.  not all of what i linked took it seems. there were a total of 6 articles i attempted to post here in the first post.

Clock bearings are great for bomber crews or for planes flying in formation, but unless every one is on the same heading, all it will do is some confusion, with everyone looking in a different direction.

There are very few problems in this world which can not be solved

by a suitable and timely application of concentrated firepower.
