Dear WG,

I am currently working on my 11th skill point for my tier 10 pilot.

Can you please assure me the game will still be there after I get my 12th skill point ?

(as I need 2 to proceed, NOT going for fire extinguisher)

I would like to know how much xp is needed for my 12th skill point, is there some sort of info on this?

I just unlocked 11th point for the female US pilot. I keep her in the tier 9 F-94. The 12th point is over 6M exp... I figure it will take about 600 battles to unlock it.

I never lose; either I win or I learn.

Damn, that is a lot.

I have a job and a life, this will take me a couple of years to get it I guess, I do want to fly other planes to.

I am too lazy to shuffle my pilots, so I have a pilot for every tear for every plane, I never shuffle pilots, hate to do it.

Shuffling the pilots doesnt work anymore unless you spend gold to re-train them to 100% for every plane you put them in.

I have every plane, so I look for other things to do, and set mini-goals in-game... currently it is working on the US Female pilot.

Ah I remember the stories, I never bothered about it since I never shuffled, now I remember.

Well...I'm sure you can funnel free EXP in there...if you can convert that much, that is.

How about keeping as many prem planes as you can and collect their anniversary bonus with one pilot with accelerated training on...

WoWP makes a great jousting game...especially with the 262 and people busy in furballs...
I am deaf, silent, and fly with unrealistic controls. Do not count on me to carry - my back's already broken from overweight.

But I would need a German premium plane for that, right? I don't think I have a German premium.

I only have a tier 8 British Seafang and a US tier 8 XP, I guess that won't work?

You missed the Hs 123 that came with the Shooting Star set of missions? It's tier 2, but it's something.

You could always buy the t8 109tl. If you don't like that plane you can get a t6 or t7 premium. I have the t6 messerspit, and that's a pretty good plane.

That is the valid point about this game. In the other games, you can buy an item without a crew and do what you want. For me, the anniversary missions (here he goes again with that) can get your pilot within the mission specs. With the range from 9 for the lower tiers to 16 for the upper tiers, it shows you a lot of what your are doing right or wrong in regards to the aircraft and also helps you learn its strengths and weaknesses. As for the Tier 8 Seafang and the American which probably the XP58, keep the pilots in them, used the accelerated training to its fullest and forget the musical planes thing like you find in the other WG offerings. Myself, I have kept the original pilots and work the lowest ones up from there.

The real question should be:

Will I still be there when wargaming get's it ?

Guess that depends on the dementia medication and how effective it is.

Then again, I have not gotten this game since they added bots.

I think I am the only one who's stats dropped since their addition.

Steel your average XP is 718. Based on this you would need 1822 battles for skill point 11 and another 4989 battles for skill point 12.

Your average battles per day is rated at 12. In 567 days you'll have reached your goal. This is on December 3th, 2018.

Thanks for your calculation Red......it really makes me feel good :(

But still I think it will take me more time, all calculations are average I guess.

Did you calculate 12 HG3 battles per day or is this average of 12 battles per day  (I also fly other planes)

Also I am not so fond of the gameplay anymore, so I play less and less  (this will screw up my HG3 "average")

My total average is 718, this is a bad reference to work with as I have flown an awful lot of GA. In a GA one will get less xp if you don't shoot ground targets only (you get punished for shooting planes ie less xp). So when I fly a fighter I do make a lot more XP, this is actually good..........but still

My feeling is with the current state of the game it will be way beyond 2020...........

If you are looking to grind a pilot, I would suggest using the highest tier you have.  I can gain more pilot EXP flying a tier 9 or 10 than I can in a tier 8 premium plane.

Average exp is averaged across all tiers, and does not represent the calculation used for pilot exp when you have accelerate crew exp enabled, and don't forget the daily x2, the weekend x3 as well as various bonus exp, and bonus pilot exp missions.

Right now I am averaging about 10,000 pilot exp per battle in my tier 9 F-94.  This past weekend where they had a pilot exp bonus mission, I was averaging 25,000 pilot exp.

Since I have all planes fully upgraded, I have also been using my free exp to train pilot skills... For my high tier anniversary planes, I am pulling down 10,000 free exp at a time.

Regardless of what aircraft you fly, you can also use the Aerial Verification consumable which costs 1 token per battle. This increases your XP by 25%. I use my tokens for freemium time, but if you have some to spare...

It takes one of those precious slots that could be used for extinguisher/surface trim/weapon cooling/engine cooling!!!

Good idea though, given that one can easily get 3 tokens a day from regular service award alone (Ace, Destroyer, Thunder)...and feasibly 6 (Ace+Destroyer+Thunder+Clostermann+Gorovets+Gabreski) with slightly more effort...and mid-high level daily missions also give extra EXP provided it went into the correct plane in addition to tokens if it is fully finished, which involves going into low tier, and low tier is where those epic medals roll...

I prefer to save tokens for the unforeseeable stuff though...I had to grind those 110 tokens for Frau von Stauffen, having picked Marina for free and recruited Ms. Lovehart with my stockpiled tokens...made it in time though...

I keep a reserve of 300 tokens that I dont use, for future events like the female pilots.  I was able to get all 3 of them without additional grinding.

Next priority for me is using them for premium account, it accumulates free exp, plane exp (converted to pilot exp using accelerated crew training) and credits ( only used for me for belts and consumables... when they are on sale)

If I was to use a token for the Aerial verification, I would end up spending roughly 20 tokens per day, but I would only be 25% ahead in grinding pilot exp... not worth it in my opinion, I could just play 5 battles and receive roughly the same exp than I would have using the bonus.  To me 20 tokens is worth more than playing 5 battles.

I never lose; either I win or I learn.
