I have the F2A-1 and XP-77, I-15bis DM-2, Pegasus, and bought the one year package that included the XFL-1.  Don't have the ME 210, but have seen it occasionally through the years, especially within the first year of release.

The Me 210. That's one I don't even have. The XP-77, and Pegasus were rewards for having over 700 battles in Closed Beta, the Me 210 was for Alpha players. I started playing during closed beta, so I was able to get the beta ones. I still fly the XP-77 from time to time.

Bring back the German flying saucer for contest or purchase, even though it wasn't that good it looks fun to fly.

For April fools day in 2014 they gave us a German flying saucer called the sleipnir. For a winter event they gave us another saucer for use in a game that you shot others with snowballs.

I missed the Sleipnir event, as I started playing a few months after it, but I remember the Odin very well.....silly fun, but great fun, shooting little exploding snowballs (very similar to short-ranged rockets) at each other while flying around a giant Christmas Tree.

My old buddy Gaijin_Ronin (rest in peace, brother) made a video of that snowball event in the Odins.....with an ELP soundtrack, I thought it was pretty cool.

EDIT::

I did find this old video of the Sleipnir on YouTube.  Stupid thing reminds me of a Dalek.......

Oh yes. Now I understand. Missed out on that one too as was too involved in "the Otheer WG" offerings. Seems that I have missed a lot here during the last three years of clanking.

Sleipnir was a hilarious "plane". It was paper mache, one single gun, and a time when 15v15 humans was the norm. Add in a weird boost and a laser gun... it was hilarious. Still have the pilot in my barracksZ

The (not so) amazing Chokai is back! And he's hit all his personal goals sans one! Seriously though, nice to be back, looks like he game is improving. I continue to try to recruit new people.

It set enemy planes on fire with ease too! :)

I had a pilot in the mix for an Odin, but I think I got rid of him along with the Me110B pilot when they introduced the female pilots. I did not see any point in keeping him as there was no skills or no plane for him and I tend to keep who with what when I buy or research the plane.

I-15bis DM-2: 15th WG anniversary gift. De facto beta plane because it happened in late Closed Beta of WoWP. Survives both CBT to OBT and OBT to Live wipes.

I got rid of a few of my 'gift' planes, but I still have a couple...

Now here is something that I may be loath to bring up, but just curious and as a base for the type of missions that are normally used for reward planes. ON the wiki (all hail the Wiki), there are several planes listed that are not yet in this game for purchase or otherwise. They are: US-Brewster F2A-1 Buffalo, Bell XP77, Curtis XF15c; UK North American Mustang 1A; Germany- Bloss 137-1, Me 210, USSR Pegasus. Could these be the basis for the type of missions that we have had recently for the La-11 and others? Just curious to see if should WG do this, who would be interested in what plane? Does it matter what tier? As for me, I wold be interested in all of them. Then Ghost could pass this up the chain and they can take it from there.

F2A-1 - offered during a Beta event

Bell XP-77 - was the Global Alpha gift plane

Me.210 - was the Closed Alpha gift plane with a minimum number of battles required - also guaranteed by WG to never be sold or given away in events.

Pegasus - Another Alpha gift plane

Blohm und Voss 137-1 - a limited time plane

XF15c - was a test plane that didn't make it to the game.

Cheers!
Glenn

I know the details don't really matter anymore, but there they are.
