It's not a bad idea at all, there are countless people that play more than 1 WG title. The issue is implementing something before it is ready & then forcing the players to find workarounds to get it to work.

For those having installation issues under Windows 10, Please try right clicking and setting the compatibility mode for an earlier version of Windows, and run as Administrator. The devs have been notified that of the reports and this issue will be fixed.

Compatibility mode for Windows 7 and running install as Administrator is doing the thing right.

... and it's also allowing to reinstall the game from scratch

Ghost I just updated the game and what happened to the "gift planes"? The game centre update fine the game started OK, but I guess it is like getting excited for Xmas and finding all you got was an empty box. The next time that they say you are getting gift planes or anything, I will believe it when it is there. Running Windows 10 with Mcafee and no problems so far.

It has been working fine for me WIN 10 PRO since it was required for the Closed Public Test for the new game mode.

 

I dont have third party virus software.  Windows defender has always been good enough.  There should be settings in windows and anti-virus software to allow the game centre access through the firewall.

Yup, typical WG .... if its bugged release it anyways

 

Then customer dis-service attempts to blame everyone's pc and possibly lose more people by frustrating them

 

 

 

Wouldn't it be great to have just 1 patch that has a low level of bugs for once??

They are not yet available, but they will become available at a later time. Keep on the lookout for announcements.

Installation of the Wargamming Game Center does not work. "NICE JOB" making the WGC installation launcher the only option for starting up WOWP. Now I cannot play the game. WoWS at least made this an option not the only choice.

 

I do not want game center! I do not want Wargamming massive updates happening when I am streaming video or playing other games. I need to control when games update.

In the settings you can disable the automatic updates.

Can't get into WOWP, I don't play anything else... I hate these patches that don't work... I just get a repeating of install and no working sigh!

 

I just wanted to fly today and not fix computer issues... maybe they will give us a free plane for these headaches....

Well, you -can- disable automatic update and preloading upcoming updates.

 

...but doesn't seem to matter when you can't get it to work to begin with...

OK, this is not funny anymore over a year invested and how many 100's of dollars... and to be locked out and no way to launch WOWP. THIS IS [edited]! I didn't want to spend my day fighting buggy software. Facepalm!
