Here we see the MIghty IL of WWll after being raked with light machine gun fire from a light fighter.

In World of Flying Tanks, this is not possible due to the 2000 - 3000 HP that was given so the Mighty IL will be able to play for the entire game along with it's Never Die Zombie Rear Gunner  !!!!!!!!!!!! It Truly Takes NO Skill                                  !!!!

Tex, that is far more than light MG fire and you will also notice that it is still flying. Do you wish to fail again yes/no?

I used to have a handle on life until it broke off.

I also noticed the rear gunner is still ready for action too.

I question the quality and authenticity of the picture.

It does strike me of photoshop but Tex picked it so I had no problem picking it up and beating him about his internet head & shoulders. :)

the fact that there are more holes than wing says something about it what a good tank it really was. Its not like they put wings on the T-34, its called a flying tank because compared to other aircraft it was.

Your insipid ignorance never ceases to astound me. That's an IL 2 (mod)....in the game, it's a Tier V premium, and with a Reinforced Airframe and Improved Covering, it only has 906 hit points....not the 2000-3000 you so ignorantly claim.  Furthermore, the Russians flew these against the Luftwaffe....you know, those German fighters that are armed with 20 & 30mm CANNONS, not light machine guns....just look at the size of those holes.

I'm not sure why I'm even telling you this, because being informed is something you are either incapable of, or unwilling to even try.

Oh, and by the way......20th Century Limited just posted a video of a light fighter raking 2000 hp off of an IL-40 in just one pass armed with only 6x .50 cal MGs.

So if the Ilyushins are so "mighty" and "invincible", maybe you're just doing it wrong.....nah, no maybe about it...you ARE just doing it wrong.

They are much, much easier to kill in the game than they EVER were in real life.....

Sorry, don't mean to "toot my horn" but actually it was a MRF(F84F) and it killed two 2000hp GAAs(IL40 & 1099) in one "extended" pass.

Thx for the mention War. By the way, come check out "Defying the Meta: Part II"....now posted in our Discord.

Your insipid ignorance and naivety leads you to believe that the IL in WWII was capable of making ace........but then you enjoy watching men wrestle too.....and that isn't fake either

Tex, this is an arcade game. If you want to play the historical card your beloved fighters would go down in a single short burst. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

Bang on ^^^. Plus first aid kits wouldn't cure bullet wounds and almost 100% of aerial collisions would be fatal to both planes. Adjustments are made to make the game more fun and less of a simulation.

Soviet Sturmovik Aces in WW II

Chuvin Nikolaiy Ivanovich - 11 kills in an IL-2

Parshin Georgiy Mihailovich - 10 kills in an IL-2(t)

Dogayev Vladimir Ivanovich - 9 kills in an IL-2

Smilskiy Mihail Ivanovich - 8 kills in an IL-2

Begeldinov Talgat Ya - 7 kils in an IL-2

Poluyanov Grigoriy Pavlovich - 7 kills in an IL-2

Kolomoyetz Ivan Filippovich - 7 kills in an IL-2

Yefimov Alexandr Nikolayevich - 5 kills in an IL-2

Now, go ahead and preach to me about there were no Aces flying IL-2s in WW II.

Oh, wait.....you mean in a single battle?

OK, smart guy....list the fighter pilots who killed 5 or more planes in a single battle......let's see if you can actually look up facts, rather than spout your own misguided opinion

Well, of course I meant one game, or in your case, one sortie.   You look it up, or will it cut into your making fiction video's time?

Try this link Tex, Ace in a Day. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_aviators_who_became_ace_in_a_day#World_War_I  However, when you consider how many pilots there were in WWI & WWII the list is pretty small.

Tex,

You're on the wrong side of this argument once again. There are more players here who like ILs better than they like you. You probably aren't going to come out on top here.

Jus' sayin'
