The bots are very predictable...They will fly across the map to get you while completely ignoring other targets if they are not attacked.

That's great in T10 with what little experience I have in that tier.

Great idea. So every target is an equal opportunity rather than 3 guys heading straight for you for who you are. Frankly quite annoying.

Ya,I definitely picked a bad username.

What was I thinking?

Your a Drac though and a target no matter what your name.

Take that as a compliment.

They do it in any tier. If you tag them and no one else hits them they will follow you to the ends of the earth.

Your name is not one I recognize, however I admit having done this at times. It's nothing personal, and it's something we've all experienced on both sides of the coin.

So then allow me to amend my question---> If player names and stats were unavailable (and even a MOD didn't show who was/wasn't a BOT), do you think the game would be improved even slightly?

Darn rights it would, get rid of the hrunmod and let people fly without the advantage of knowing who to kill first like most of us.

Happens to me a lot especially with those F-84 bots.

What would be cool is if players names were not visible for the first 3 minutes,it would change every battle.

Good idea or no?

What a sorry little creature I am. I basically can't play the game anymore unless I'm using mods.

But those mods only affect three things:

1. The look of the reticle

2. The look of the lead indicator and

3. The position of the camera

Pardon me for having an unrealistic advantage because I'm using mods.

Although admittedly, the camera mod removes most of the parallax from the original camera position so I know where my bullets are going without being in sniper mode. The one mod WG should make part of the game.

I thought hrunmod showed you who was the most dangerous and most likely to kill you.

It does, but I don't use that one. There is also a mod out there that shows the airspeed and altitude relative to the ground of a selected enemy in the target window. Now that mod should be made illegal.

I downloaded it 2 weeks ago and flew 2 matches with it before deleting it,I should have gave it a chance but I scratched and clawed my way by myself and having an unfair advantage left a bad taste in my mouth.

Good thing you do so... I am sure there would have been an outcry from the masses about your advantage...

Hyrunomod rates each human with a number the higher the better they are supposed to be and each bot with N - lowest quality, S - medium quality, and V - veteran. Like with XVM in WoT it is more useful to know who on your team is most likely to potato than for anything else.

laughing my but off at anyone thinking the current mods available gives an advantage in game play.

Then again, I guess if you have no common sense it would give you an advantage.

Cloud and bomb effect removed gives you an advantage of better view. I frequently lose orientation fighting in clouds. Remove the clouds and you have blue sky all the time. Dropping a bomb at low altitude I get blinded for a few seconds by the effect, remove it and you have clear view. Then there is sun glare. So there are some minor advantages.

If you seriously think that that radar mod doesn't give an advantage, then you're foolish.

I stopped using the radar when I stopped playing on my big screen TV over a year ago.

I found it to be useless and cluttered the screen to much.

The map in the lower corner with the <alt> pressed is all I need.

With the < alt > key pressed it gives you the type of craft. You watch the direction the symbol is moving and you

can determine direction.

The targeting window gives the distance from target and tells if the distance is opening or closing.

Free camera can show if you are higher or lower than your target.

The only thing a mod does is help an individual see things better on a personal level.

It doesn't give an advantage.

Unless of course you think that wearing glasses or not wearing glasses gives you an advantage.

Then I suppose you are correct.

Now if you want a good advantage over the other players. Use a Big Screen TV and a joystick.

lol!

How can any mod that frees your attention to allow you to focus on other things, not be an advantage?

When at a glance you can see who's closing on your 6, or who's passing close enough to you to be a threat or a target without the need to pan or cycle targets?

Maybe you just didn't know how to use it?

hold on Radar mod? This is different to the radar that comes with the game? I have never used mods other than the one that moves the aiming thing.
