Hi, also a noob here.  I've been poking about the forums and a frequent complaint about WoWP is the "lack of an end game" or somesuch.   I'm curious what you vets would like an end game to look like?  Once you unlock all the planes and have a bazillion dollars and all the laser guns, what more is there? A single/multi-player campaign?   Would something like a tournament work?  Russian planes vs American planes and such?  Pair clans against clans?  Have a clan-only tourney and us noobs can watch from a safe distance?  The oft-mentioned near-mythical cross-over with WoT and WoWS?  For guys like me who just started, the "end game" is trying to avoid flying into mountains or constantly being shot down by all_the_cats and volunteer82...

Well, I'm another noob so I really don't know and don't pretend to know what the more experienced guys would want. From my perspective some type of on-going "clan war" type system would be a logical step. From the bit of poking around the forums that I've done apparently such a plan was "in the works" at one time, now, probably not so much.

When people mention end game content they are basically looking for things like clan wars, strongholds, team battles, tournaments & such that would provide competitive play with incentives to win things such as gold or premium planes.

Or just any type of consistent TEAM competition organized by WG, not by community members itself.

You are totally correct.

Clan-based activities would be the next logical steps.

Unfortunately WarGaming apparently does not understand the value of developing and instituting plans that will keep their player base content/challenged.

I'd really like to see a planes+ships operation (newbie's wish lol)

Warships in wowp are just ground targets with weak AA at the moment...

End game content is ....

all the players betting on the date when WG shuts WOWP down.

Will WG eventually shut down WoWP?  It seems eventually so, but all games have a life expectancy.  I suppose that I am the problem, in a way, as I haven't spent a single penny of Real Money on the game.  WG is a business, after all, no income, no product, they can only ride WoT's coattails for so long.  Still, it will be a shame when that day ever comes, it's an obsessively fun game!

If you do a little research about Wargaming you will find that WOT does not support WOWP to keep it alive.

Wargaming itself has been around for a very long time.

They have a variety of income resources beyond their trilogy. Which is how they are capable of creating PLAY FOR FREE GAMES.

With a profit of around 6Mill +  and revenue of around 200Mill +...yeah you are not hurting WG in the least by playing for free.

Which is something else I've always been curious about.  How common is it for players to spend Real Money on WoWP?  Down in the Teir I ranks with me, I can't imagine anyone is (except for that guy that keeps setting me on fire with his premium incendiary ammo...) but maybe in higher Tiers more people are paying to play?

I have been playing since closed beta.

I purchased 3 tier 8 premiums the J8M TL-109 and the LA-11.

That is all the money I have spent on this game.

I think that was was almost 200$$ American in 5 years.

Still kickin myself in the but for wasting that money.

200$$ and nothing to show for it...

Of course a fool and their money is soon parted.
